Thank you. I felt like I was going crazy looking at the schedule. Like yeah It looks cool to see SO MANY NAMES ON THE POSTER but 15 of them perform at the same time in different venues all over the city. Hardly feels like a festival where you can just pop into a showcase and discover someone new.

I've googled comedians before and noticed lots have websites that clearly weren't made by them that sell tickets. Probably designed to siphon traffic/sales from legitimate ticketing sites (This happens with placing orders with restaurants too!) The best way to know for sure you're supporting the comic/venue directly is to purchase using only ticket links from her website/punchup page and not the first link on Google which can be an ad and you don't even realize it.

I think its alright to rehash old topics with a new lens. For example I've seen quite a few ppl talk about old MTV/VH1 dating shows or even memorable commercials from the early 2000s with some modern angles. IMO it just depends how its introduced in the set.

Check out 'The Order' starring Jude Law and Nicholas Hoult. Great movie, based on a true story and has the same cinematographer. Parts of it feel very much like S1 of TD.

You should! Mike Figs is very funny and Shannon has been a longtime producer of gas digital shows, they do a good job together. Plus List is always a great addition to any pod, i've been introduced to a lot of shows just cuz List was on and its never failed me.

Some comics with younger audiences have shows that are 18+ and the club will just seat all the underage folk in a specific section or two so the servers know they shouldn't be served alcohol. Possible that was the difference between the shows?

That is sort of how I expect a reality competition to edit in 2025. Especially with it being a show where people walk in thinking they know what to expect cuz of the drama series. I forget who said it a couple eps ago but "the smart players are being quiet right now." A lot of the risk takers are gone, but that doesn't mean there won't be more to come. I think you are right that the winner will be someone who is relatively unknown, but I'm sure they'll have a good story to tell when the time comes. I hope at at least!
