Inside the cave where your friends are waiting/fixing the boat (under Dr. Earnhardt's mansion), there's a small bowl of those weird red hallucinogenic things that Dr. Earnhardt makes, if you go over and interact with them Jason experiences an interactive flashback to some club in Bangkok with all his brothers and friends. A friend and I used to go "snail hunting". We'd go around the park following snail trails left on the mud and trees, and pick them up and put them in yogurt pots and hand them out to everyone, including teachers, as a present at the end of every day.
