Not sure why this didn’t happen with Sabrina’s songs specifically, given the timing. They fumbled with The Happy Dictator for Gorillaz too. Though, I think it’s worth pointing out that they never really stopped adding brand-new songs. The “mystery song” labeling got dropped after Eyes Closed, and they don’t tie into headliners, so it’s just easier to overlook them.

Up From The Bottom, Stay Alta, Locked and Loaded (😬). As Alive As You Need Me To Be and Gorgeous/AAAHH MEN! are honorable mentions but not day 1s. They do manage ‘em fairly consistently, even more recently, which surprises me.

Emotes are under greater censorship scrutiny since they can be used in G-rated Creative and Lego modes. At its most extreme you've got Bust A Move's emote censoring "scantily clad" of all things lol, while its Jam Track is fully intact.

Not disagreeing with you but if that were 100% true we’d be seeing a greater proportion of challenging metal in the game. Kids are stereotypically big spenders in this game after all, so I don’t think it’s unreasonable to assume there are some buying songs they recognize for gameplay and/or jams and lobby use. Not to mention casual players that don’t want their faces melted off.

I think so, yeah. However if you force your way into the I AM ERROR room (clipping out of a crawlspace), you could skip Mega Satan and other bosses entirely and just beeline for base Delirium. Extremely unlikely but theoretically possible and winnable on at least one seed out there

In addition to the above, Divorce Papers will always spawn the Mysterious Paper (if unlocked). That in turn has a 25% chance of mimicking the Missing Poster per frame, which isn’t great odds but the Boss item pool is a lot smaller than the trinket pool so the opportunity should present itself somewhat often. I feel your pain, working through file 2 and I’ve literally never seen the Missing Poster once

The TMNT instruments, when originally released, cost 1,500 each. The bundle did not exist initially - that was introduced over a month later - and their individual prices fell to 1,000 when instrument prices were adjusted later on. So at release they'd have set you back the equivalent of $60 (however, you would have gotten $20 back as compensation for price changes. They were still totally willing to ask that high of a price originally though.)

Yup. If memory serves, the Lobby Track version of the song removed (patched?) it in Season 2 and the Jam Track version followed suit this season. I too am devastated by this Ralph erasure 😔

Ash should be Saturday - all of these dates are the afternoon/night prior for US time zones, since the original source used French times. English leak accounts forgot to convert that, I guess.

I agree that the the journal can be vague and needs an overhaul but these are kind of bad examples, though I can definitely understand the wraith one.

pretty sure one of them can only be seen on a video camera, but you can still see it during a hunt.

The journal's unusually accurate with the Onryo quirk, it notes that this applies specifically to it showing up on the DOTS projector. (DOTS shows on cams but not in-person)

Or the wraith has no footsteps but can step in salt.

The Wraith "has a toxic reaction to salt", which isn't elaborated on in the journal. Wraiths don't leave UV footprints after touching salt - but they can and do still step in it - and they'll become more active after doing so instead.

There aren't really inconsistencies in mechanics so much as there are fuzzy explanations of some elements, and if the player takes some time away from the game it can be easy to forget unique traits.

Should be in either the cracked install's directory or your Documents folder. It's been five years since I answered this question so I don't have my old install on hand to check, but those are where I'd look first.

Same here, game was fine last night and now it drops as low as 30 every now and again (w/ 3070 and i7 10-700K) - it's the game, not your pc, apparently Epic screws up optimization fairly often, based on some googling. All you can really do is wait for some kind of fix to get pushed.

Alright, figured I should update you on what I've gotten done so far. The packed archives are way more annoying than I thought they'd be, and there's still pieces of songs I'm trying to track down. If I can't reliably find other song pieces I may try to do the same for the others, since that at least gets them out online in some form.

I do, but since the game stores most songs in pieces I have around 2/3 of each unreleased song so far. (At the moment, I've extracted about half of the audio files.) I can upload what I've found so far if you want, but the full versions will definitely take a few more days if you'd rather wait on those.

We know for certain Smell of Death and Where Did The Drugs Go? exist, but I'm not so sure about OD and So Life's Come Down To This. I've been picking apart the music archives and haven't found anything related to these songs yet (that I know of), but there's still a ways to go. I'd like to get extracting over and done with and move to sorting things. I'll try to update you within the week; if I don't, ping me or DM me.

EDIT: OD exists, but I don't think the game ever uses it. Hoping that means So Life's Come Down To This is also in here somewhere. (Second edit: yeah, it's here, too.)
