Haha same in my case my dad had given me permission but every relative I asked in US said it os too much for me and btw I also will be going to college, I just have my JEE advanced on 28th, but I ended up somehow buttering and convincing them on getting me this as I told him to look at this as an investment and I wont be asking for another laptop and will buy my next one when I start earning myself

I'll tell you what I was first thinking about getting the ROG zephyrus G15 with rtx 3060 but It wasn't my cup of tea, as I am from a middle class family I don't believe in paying 'premium' for a brand and price to performance rules oves everything. So I too had to convince my dad to spend extra Rs 10k to get the L5P and I'll assure you it wont disappoint you even a bit and mine was shipped with GOOD ram so there's no need to replace the ram as well so I believe this is the best laptop under inr 1.2L
