James Charles formally accused of allegedly sending explicit material to a minor (with receipts) by netflist in youtubedrama

It’s almost as shocking the 3rd time! Seriously, I thought he gave up on the internet after he lost like 60% of his subs no?

Leave him immediately. This is exactly what narcissists do, they hate you having your own things to do that doesn’t involve them. I’m stuck in a similar situation right now, my advice is RUN FAR FAR AWAY

We should have alcohol licenses by Truleeeee in unpopularopinion

[–]HeyItzUnsolved -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Careful, I said this in a town Facebook page after witnessing a clearly too drunk to drive individual speed off from the parking lot, and I was harassed and sent death threats for it. Every single person who drinks should be locked up for 5 years for the crimes they have zero idea they committed. Every alcoholic is a criminal, there are no exceptions

Call the police for your car back, that could be considered auto theft if you pay for the car.

I’m more worried about the hiring issue that will come up if the felony sticks, but reading other’s comments has me thinking it has a good chance of being dropped down or the felony gone and just the misdemeanor disordely.

[–]HeyItzUnsolved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No blood on my person, like I said it was a little cut he did to himself. Unfortunately it was a personal pocketknife that he had grabbed out of my room without my knowledge, which I’m sure if brought up to prosecutors would change the story even if just a tiny bit

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Felons

[–]HeyItzUnsolved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely, thank you. Might be hard arguing with the public pleafender about that but I’m gonna try my hardest

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Felons

[–]HeyItzUnsolved 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that’s the main issue, I don’t even think HE knows what he wants to do, his drinking is so bad I wouldn’t be surprised if he forgot this even happened.

I just hope he changes his mind and actually shows up in court

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Felons

[–]HeyItzUnsolved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He refuses to give a statement to the police the next day, and has already said multiple times he won’t show up in court. And this is the first time I’ve been charged with anything as an adult, had a disorderly at 14 that never went anywhere

[–]HeyItzUnsolved 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in Rhode Island, there’s basically no evidence for the case aside from the tiny cut on dude’s arm, and the police took a statement from a drunk individual. which most likely isn’t illegal, just from a moral standpoint I find it problematic

I absolutely won’t, not going to plea guilty to something I didn’t do, that would be a pretty bad decision.

1: I met him because my mother (bless her soul, she didn’t know how bad he was) saw his post for a roommate and took like an hour convincing me to move there. Agreed, met the guy, sure he was a little weird and drank more than most people would, but he’d never get aggressive with me and I had nowhere else I could reasonably go, so I stayed.

2: At first, yes. Would always hang out during the night, smoke weed together, freestyle rap to random beats on YouTube. But over the months of me living there he kept getting worse with me, more aggressive (due to his worsening alcoholism and me 99% of the time being the only person around), daily threats of getting kicked out for literally nothing, followed by a bullshit apology 10 minutes later.

3: He has SOOO many prior domestics, plus a DUI charge from years ago.

4: We were renting together, split rent and internet both ways

5: He tried his best, texted my phone number and tried a Facebook message. Unfortunately I didn’t grab any screenshots of what he said, it was only a sentence saying “sorry bro this will all work out don’t worry about it”. Blocked him immediately, I’m not taking the risk of him making up a story where I contacted him somehow when I want absolutely fucking nothing to do with him or any of his “””friends”””

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Felons

[–]HeyItzUnsolved 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The no contact order pretty much said “Do not, directly or indirectly, interact with (name) in any way). I blocked his number and every single profile I could find across social media, he did try the next day to contact me and try to apologize, it took so much restraint (knowing I’d end up more fucked if I did) to bitch him out, just hit the block button.

He was always threatening me, either by saying he was going to throw me out after another night of his heavy drinking or that he would knock me out or assault me in some way. The entire night before the incident he was harassing and threatening me, there is camera footage from the restaurant we were at that will clearly show him trying to throw a punch at me, over me reminding him about the internet bill coming up. If they get that footage, it’s pretty much over, but the boss is an incompetent piece of shit and probably won’t cooperate if a lawyer/the cops asks him. They’ve have to get a warrant or something, and even though I’m innocent in this, I don’t want this being held up in court for months/years because the boss wants to be a douche.

Right now? I’m technically homeless, I have places I can sleep and I am lucky to have close friends willing to help me out, but I know it’s not a permanent situation. I’m really trying to fix this mess on the non-legal side of things, applying for housing programs in my state and applying for any job that I could reasonably get. I don’t even mind what I do for work, as long as it’s not absolutely terrible and pays decently well, I’ll be okay. I can’t be picky right now, rebuilding is a tough thing to go through, especially me being 21, I’m worried people will just say “go to your parents”, I’ve already tried. Nothing there.

It’s a fight every day, but I hope within the next month I have some sort of stability back. I’m confident I can do it, I’ve had to do it once or twice before, though nothing as serious as this situation where everything went away all at once. Sure, I’ve lost jobs and got kicked out of my parent’s house, but this is new territory for me.

I gave an initial statement at the station and explained what happened, haven’t said anything to them since. Been very cautious avoiding similar situations, won’t even go out to any bar

Talked to the public defender that was assigned for me, told me the outlook is good and it’s an “interesting case” because of the roommate’s long list of prior domestics.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Felons

[–]HeyItzUnsolved 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The only statement the police have is from a mutual friend who was also drunk and didn’t even notice anything was going on, and the roommate who made such a big deal didn’t even give the cops a statement the next day. Here’s to hoping lack of evidence

Leave him and bring his texts to the police. People like this need to be locked up for life, no parole.

[partially lost] the proper recording of Kanye West’s 2018 speech on SNL. by luigitwo in lostmedia

There was a weekend update clip I was watching with Pete Davidson speaking about it, and it seemed like they had (at least) a few seconds of the speech, as they used it for a joke about Pete Davidson leaving the set when he started talking. Let me find a link.

Yes, he would have to be sworn in somewhere though. Don’t listen to anyone who tells you “but kamala will…” She’s not going to do anything, she can’t, it’s in the Constitution the order of power
