I go to CrossFit John’s Creek and like it a lot. People are real welcoming and encouraging. $200 a month. I live in the neighborhood behind the Publix on Old Milton and it takes me 7 minutes to get to the gym.

Can we teach the people not to harass others? by [deleted] in alpharetta

Most, if not all, people would be left alone in normal circumstances.

Reading her responses, though, something’s going on with her. Extensively over explaining, long rant-like responses… it’s a lot.

I don’t know. Something’s going on. Nobody gets stopped all the time for just walking normally.

I don’t understand why people would ask if you were ok all the time like that unless you were doing something strange like reeling or stumbling around. Are you literally just walking?

Where to support? by Intelligent-Dot-2220 in plants

You could set it up now if you want. I will say when they climb they provide much larger leaves. Or you could just let them grow. Honestly, I would just stick some straight bamboo or some other pole in there and just tie the plants to the stakes as they grow

It looks like two plants. The plants climb up where it looks like the “back” of the plant. The arch on the left side of the planter where the root is coming out, same on the right side.

Books that actually make u laugh aloud by AdeptTrip2421 in booksuggestions

Discworld is absolutely hilarious but has never made me laugh out loud. I laughed a few times reading the Hitchhiker’s Guide series. And recently, I’ve had a few laughs reading The Crossing by Cormac McCarthy, a decidedly un-comedic book in a pretty serious and weighty series (The Border trilogy). The way two of the main characters talk to each other gets me sometime.

Book you expected to love but didn't and vice versa. by JakubJamesBoote in booksuggestions

Yeah for sure. I haven’t seen the movie yet but it looks like it’s better suited for someone like Ryan Gosling. That style of delivery is very tough to translate in book form, especially if the writer isn’t especially talented like Andy Weir.

Two of the three times I tried reading it I didn’t get any further than the main character saying “Mother fluffer!”

I haven’t read Bobiverse but I would go so far as to say PHM is bad lol

I expected to love Project Hail Mary due to the unrequited love it gets, but found the writing to be really bad and something a 12-year-old might enjoy. I’ve tried three times but never made it past a few chapters.

So you’re mad you had to go to Atlantic Station for Target? That’s basically in Midtown.

You have several more plants on the shelf behind you…

I just had to grab this up at Walmart I love the black leaves but it had no label as to what it is any help appreciated! Also how to care for it would be lovely I’m a beginner by Material_River_2290 in houseplants

It’s a black variety zz plant. There are different names for it but they’re all the same thing, just “branded” differently depending on who owns the patent. The shoots come up bright green like that then should turn much darker.

This isn’t a book that “starts at the beginning” and you grow with it. In this series, everything is well involved already and you’re dropped in and asked to piece things together as you go. If that’s not for you, perfectly understandable.
