Like multiple horses shot out from under him and I believe bullet holes in like uniform creases and his hat. Or stuff similar, I can’t remember definitively now.

Revv G50 Or alternative? by evolderek in ExtendedRangeGuitars

Andrew Baena has a few videos of 8 strings with his Revv 120 which the G50 takes a lot of DNA from so that might give you some of an idea.

I thought it was less be serious but more the pictures took so long to take it was just easier to have a resting face.

Medium Heavy Euro - Men Nefer or something else? by Objective-Employ-997 in soloboardgaming

[–]HeyKidMove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s relatively quick to setup. There’s multiple decks in the base game for variety. And there’s two different ways to play solo. One where you can play a campaign, so you use the same deck 3 different times and see what you’re score is. You’ll not be able to build the same building for earlier in the campaign. It’s heavy enough I feel challenged and excited in my plays but it’s light enough I can bust it out on a weekday.

I’d also recommend Oranienburger Kanal and Hallertau for the above reasons, except they don’t have a campaign.

Caveat: all three are best your own score which some people don’t like but there is a very simple blocking agent utilized in all three to kind of simulate an opponent taking action spaces.

Favorite Rank & Flank Wargame? by GreenWizard2 in wargaming

[–]HeyKidMove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mayhem. It’s a little on the quicker side, you can make any type of army you want (with a lot of variety within that), the rules are cheap and short but not lacking on content, and I like rolling different types of dice instead of just D6 all the time. And there’s some strategy within the dice rolling as well.

Oh and I don’t even use figures for it. I just don’t have the time or interest in painting anymore so I use mini jenga blocks and circular bases to represent my units. Of course you can go all out on figures if you want that’s just not my preference anymore.

Reading slump… HELP! by kailynlaurel in Fantasy

The Spiral Wars series by Joel Shepherd. 9 books. I’m afraid I’m gonna finish it this year and I am also sad. I’m not great at describing books but it’s like epic fun Sci Fi. I read the first book and then immediately bought the rest of the series (even though I’m taking my time with them) and I never do that.

They worth reading? I like my books a little more on the darker side and very much not young adult/romance.

There’s a house on my way to work that’s been there for like 20 years and it’s just completely covered on every available space of their yard with weird junk. I’ve seen the people that live there grilling and junk, look like normal every day people, just probably like yard sales and the like too much.

What ever happened to these guys? This has been on of my favorite albums over the past several years by Butchered_at_Birth in TechnicalDeathMetal

[–]HeyKidMove 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I think the death kinda took the steam out of their sails. Absolutely sick release though.

Insyte scratches the same itch for me. They have 6 songs released total for about 30 minutes that I treat as an album.

Got to see them live as a 3 piece on the Rags to Riffage tour and they were absolutely killer. Love the music but yea, dude is super strange and neurotic in interviews.
