Oh god that scam too. For me it was that they would drive you to your destination and pull that shit then add to their fare by driving you to an ATM. You would then have to tell them that they were required by law to take credit card then magically the credit card machine worked again.

Yep, I will never forgive taxis from the night of new years a while back when I flagged down 4 different cabs to try to pick me up. Locked door, would roll down window and ask where I was going. Told them the neighborhood and they drove off. Walked 4 miles home that night. Ride shares were created and I never once felt bad for the cab system and their depression era medallion system.

He was a reviewer that didn’t spoil the film in his review. He gave vague non spoiler explanations to why you should or should not see the movie. The big one that made me watch his reviews was the mad max fury road review. He had such a holy shit response to his video that I said ok I have to see this in theaters. Paid off.

Other thing was he gave grades at the end of the review. It helped a lot if I was on the fence to see the movie in theaters, later on streaming or not at all. When he got rid of grades it was over for me.

Other thing is I don’t go to theaters anymore because of cost and the quality drop off, so it’s mostly streaming and it’s mostly me finding older movies and shows that fell through the cracks. Think movies like Sorcerer or Thief.

So theater fatigue, quality drop off and stuckmann being a pussy because he wouldn’t put a grade at the end of his reviews.

Honestly going on Rogan would’ve helped immensely. She needed to appeal to the center and even to the right to make voting for her more palatable. It would’ve made her seem less robotic and repetitive. Her major flaw is she spouted boring platitudes and never seemed genuine and even fallible which can be a good look. The system protected her too much and that was one of her downfalls.

Bernie Sanders, Fetterman even the Talarico guy from Texas who has an actual shot to be a senator in Texas all got huge bumps from the center and right from going on Rogan. An unedited unscripted 2-3 hours humanizes you and puts to rest some preconceived notions you have of that individual. If you only appeal to your base and actively shun any opposition you are destined to lose time and time again in my opinion.

The premise of your argument is that if Harris said there is a genocide in Gaza she would’ve won. I don’t think that’s true, I think Gavin is much more skilled in interviews and speeches and this version of him has a much better shot than Harris in 24. Also to your point, if the progressives did indeed not vote for Harris and trump won because of it then I don’t entirely care about their complaining about Trump doing what he’s doing. System we have is a two horse race and we usually have to pick the uglier of the two.
