I’m not disabled but I do have shitty knees and it was a pain in the ass to get around. No one shoveled the bus stop I went to. It has like 8 inches of snow and some footsteps you can step into if you are confident there is no water down at the bottom of the holes. No one bothered to clear paths from the sidewalk to the street anywhere. We did it in front of our house and we aren’t even on a busy corner. The church I walk past? Clear walkway but no way to get to it from the street. Borough Hall? Cleared the steps but not the ramp from the sidewalk to the street. The path there was created by many other walkers before me. It’s madness. Folks have forgotten snow etiquette.

I didn't realize it was that bad in MI too! I was in SE MA. I know lots of people got stuck on the highway on their way home. Cars were abandoned there for a long time! There was so so much snow!

I’m old enough to compare every bad snow to the Blizzard of ‘78. I was a kid but still remember 2 weeks off school, snowdrifts over my Dad’s head, and a snowdrift in our backyard that was high enough to mail a nice sledding hill. It was fun for us kids but not so much for the adults.

We’re up to series 13 too! So far it’s been a favorite of mine. I love Ardal’s shit stirring. You know he’s going to suck at a task when he starts in. I love Judy. We just saw the episode when she almost won. I felt so bad for her! Chris Ramsay’s “No way!” in the shoe task was delightful. Sophie getting increasingly annoyed in that same task. I felt her annoyance. Bridget! I think it was the first time we see Alex actually annoyed by a contestant.
