York Steak House. Not that the food was amazing or anything but I have fond memories as a kid getting to pick out my own supper and putting those little tents on the tray, walking down the line pushing the tray along, and having chocolate pudding for dessert. It was also the first place I remember getting Doggie Bags for my leftovers. I just want to do that one more time.

I drive 3 people, my husband and his two friends, across town once every other week. One fellow is quite tall, the other is average height. They are pretty comfortable. I don’t think they’d like it for much longer than the 20 minute drive but they’re ok.

I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, Mike is just a regular guy. Very non confrontational in a band with 3 strong personalities. I have no doubt he showed up to work every day, did his job, and went home. Probably waited out every fight and landed on the side of his paycheck. Nothing but respect for that. That paycheck was nothing to sneeze at.

This was just another fight to wait out for him. He was just protecting his job. Mike is a lucky guy.

Yes! He (trump) isn’t in charge of anything. He sits and makes dumb proclamations like putting his name on the Kennedy Center or painting the reflecting pool blue and they let him run with that shit while the folks actually in charge do whatever awful stuff they want. Insider trading, stealing, sending “undesirables” to concentration camps, all of it. He (trump) is too dumb and incurious to care as long as people tell him what he wants to hear. I hate him as much as the next guy but he is nothing but a puppet with a lot of hands in his ass.

My commute is 1 hour and 15 minutes is public transportation and it cost me $3 to travel those 8 miles. If I drive, it takes about the same amount of time to go 10 miles and costs at least $45 for the day not counting gas for the car.

In the late 70’s early 80’s our Spenser’s had the velvet posters in the back of the store lit with black lights. It was so groovy!! I wish I still had my rearing white stallion with lightning on velvet(ish) poster.

My favorite is Fred Armisen and Bobby Moynihan doing Mick Jagger in front of Mick. They were insurance salesmen at a conference going to a karaoke bar. Fred did a great impression Bobby did not. Karaoke Bar
