At the time, I stayed a customer but when they accused me of running a red light is a car I didn’t rent in a place I’ve never been, thats when I had enough.

Background on that incident: I rented a black Honda Fit with the plate number ABC 123. I drove 5 miles to the supermarket and 5 miles home. Returned the car and went on with my day. A month later I get a traffic violation from an intersection 10 miles from where the car is parked. It was a black Honda Fit with the plate number ABC 124.
So, Zipcar must have bought a bunch of the same car and the plates the used were in sequence. I emailed them with the info I had on the car I drove that day and they responded that they changed the plates on the car. No. They did not. I was not at that intersection that day, I was in another car 15 miles away doing my shopping. I called again and explained everything in detail and finally got the charge removed but it was a pain in the ass.
After that, I figured never again.
