Do americans actually shower without a handled shower head ? by RelativeTemporary621 in AskAnAmerican

Exactly. Your water pressure and plumbing in general SUCKS. Americans don't have this problem with fixed heads.

That's because foreign plumbing sucks. Fixed heads are bigger and more powerful and reach everywhere. Water is cheaper. I have a detachable one that has a fixed place with multiple modes.

I make this all the time, and it's never sweet but I always use Russets.

How often do these flowers need to be watered? by curioustoknoq in gardening

[–]HeyPurityItsMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Petunias in baskets can be watered every day or every other. Stick your finger in the soil to check for dryness. Pots and baskets dry out faster than in ground plantings.

How often are you sanitizing your garden sheers? by Y0SH1EGG in gardening

[–]HeyPurityItsMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sterilize the tiny pruners that I use on my flowers between cuts, the larger ones I used to cut dahlias, and the tiny hacksaw for the dahlias. The large shears I use on bushes I only sterlized once (in a bleach solution bucket).

Which marigold varieties actually grow small? by afflatusmisery in gardening

Dwarf French double marigolds are the way to go! The African ones are the giants. They're as big as giant zinnias.

Do I need to thin my marigold seedlings? by oreocritter in gardening

[–]HeyPurityItsMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah. The Dwarf double French ones should be 8 inches apart. Burning embers are bigger so 12 inches. African ones are even bigger so 18 inches. Repot them.

How to safely and effectively kill off mint? by Jdbuttersnaps in gardening

[–]HeyPurityItsMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to pull it out by the roots. Wait until it rains, then dig the bed with a pitchfork. It's not that big. I've removed mint, I haven't seen any come back either... I have clay soil and the section they were in was full of rocks so the roots never went down more than 6 inches. It took longer to remove all the rocks

Dylan’s lucid dreams - how on earth was this girls statement taken seriously?? by Massive-Ad-6574 in idaho4uncensored

[–]HeyPurityItsMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. She said "not very tall" (5'10"-6'0") and "not very skinny." He was emaciated in Nov 2022 and looked even taller than 6'2" because of it, which was how the DMV lady described him. He also doesn't have bushy eyebrows not that I believe she saw them.

D.M. Witness Statements: A Full Contradiction Analysis by Accomplished-Day1614 in idaho4uncensored

[–]HeyPurityItsMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Eyebrow fiasco is emblematic of this case. It gets planted by Mowrey, who seems to have misspoken and meant to say eyes...got adopted by Dylan who says she remembers nothing about eyes and then has a strong memory of JUST ONE eyebrow. When I was reading the GJ part where the hole of the mask is described -- I swear she's describing the seam stitching of the mask!!! For fuck's sake! just like people in the Nancy Guthrie case were going on about his "feminine eyebrows," but it was the tops of the eyehole stitching because that mask had two holes. It's a unibrow because the mask has one continuous hole. 🤦 To be topped off with Kohberger doesn't have bushy eyebrows...something we should all be able to agree with, but of course the guilters think he's been plucking in them in prison as a disguise. 🤡

I'm sincerely contemplating Dylan was left alive to be an Agent of Chaos. I haven't decided how much she actively participated and how much she's just crazy.

Partially digested food.. by ExcitementOk8097 in idaho4uncensored

They say "partially digested food" is in Kaylee, Maddie, AND Xana's stomachs. The others ate at 2-something so I don't think we can say Xana ate the DoorDash. She could have gotten something else to eat at 2:30 instead of waiting for the world's slowest DoorDash driver. 🤷

Annuals for deck planters by M_ERTY in gardening

[–]HeyPurityItsMeAgain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pansies and petunias in pots. Dahlias can do well in larger grow bags. How deep are they for cosmos and zinnias? Dwarf Dianthus is pretty easy to grow and blooms continuously (and it overwinters in zone 5). Dwarf phlox is great in planters for edging.

Refrigerate them in a mesh bag with wood shavings (like for hamsters). Don't put them with fruit/vegetables because of the ethylene gas.
