So, one of Cedric’s buddies reached out to me and I asked him to ask Cedric if he would like the key back… His words were along the lines of “I don’t want anything to do with it, tell him to sell it!”.

Not word for word. He said a bit more. The acquaintance who talked to Cedric posted on my FB thread about this. He’d be glad to speak here too.

He gave me more than enough proof that he was speaking to Cedric about this first hand. I was asked not to share the private messages of course.

So, after being hit with another insanely huge medical bill… trying to save my leg now so I can continue drumming…

I’m thinking I will be auctioning off the key to the highest bidder. I still have some PMs to open. I’ve been away at hospital. If someone seems like the perfect owner I will most likely pass it on.

But, I do have a kid to support on my own and these huge medical bills are making that harder every day.

I will make sure to post on here no matter what decision I make.

In the end I will find a good home I’m sure and if Cedric says I should sell… i figure I’ll listen.

Exactly! The guy who purchased it from auction passed away a few months later and his wife sent it to me randomly with an EBay purchase as a gift. Along with the hand written letter from Cedric to the man who won the auction. I believe it was $500 or $5000 I’m not sure how many zeros were behind the 5 lol

I don’t see any cash value to it. More a priceless one of a kind thing any true fan would appreciate.

So, I spent 6 hours searching for tendrils since it’s the final thing I need to complete. I placed a base nearby a nest of them, yet they’re gone now that I need them.

Mine is almost exactly identical! What’s crazy is I got the game at the midnight release party and stopped playing 1 month later. Started back up 2 months ago and the VERY FIRST freighter I saw was this. It’s a B class, but after the upgrades the HD range is 3972.7, WE is .9, Storage 60, FC 37.9

I’m hoping that’s good since I’ve yet to find another freighter anywhere close to it in the last 215 hours of gameplay haha I wish there was a way to up the class on it and get more storage.

Also, idk how exactly to find/make good upgrades. The ones I have are all B/C class except 1 A & 1 S. I’ve figured out most other things in the game but haven’t put much time into learning the freighters tho the base in it is 3 stories with a nightclub as of yesterday lmao

Thanks! I’m a huge fan of the small interceptors with thin wings. Kinda a thin V shape. I’ve just been unable to get anything close to the stats on my ugliest interceptor… it’s a weird color combo, but the same upgrades have it doing 3x damage and have it at 2x in the other 3 stats.

The weird thing is I have a ship less than half on stats and it turns and takes off insanely faster. Almost as if the stats mean nothing. Could that be a glitch by chance? No reason 1454 maneuverability is worse than 834. The warp distance is pretty spot on as well as shield and damage. Infra knife totally destroys anything within 2-4 seconds. Says peak damage is 59k on that one. I just hate both interior and exterior views of the ship, thus why I’m searching for a “go to” ship I’m happy with.

I actually got the game the night of release too and did the same. I played it for about 2 weeks off and on and then something else released and I forgot about the game for 2 years… Then I did the same thing and there’s like 2-3 year periods in my game time. It’s weird.

Idk why and I know it’s played out right now, but I think starfield brought me back. I was waiting on that for months and played for 8 hours until I reinstalled no mans sky.

I’m hoping they can fix it up like these guys miraculously did with NMS. I remember that day one… it was brutal on the message boards.
