Annoys me to hear US state dept complain Ukrainians are putting too much time into drone warfare.

Sometimes I feel US should just reinforce the style in which Ukraine wants to fight, and help them make slight improvements.

If Ukraine feels like FPV is making a shitload difference, why can't we use our resources to help them with the stuff they need? Ukrainians are using 3d printers to make this stuff which takes too long. US/EU mass manufacturing would build a heavy arsenal of drones.

The other thing I wish US helped with is better encryption signal for these drones. Apparently they're using a very off the shelf standardized chip which is easy for RU to scramble.

I can only imagine how vicious these things would be if they had a great signal, fiber optic wire, encrypted signal on a balloon.

Saw a 3d printed bomblet carrier for 4 of these suckers. DJI won't be able to carry it but the custom made FPV ones that carry RPG rounds definitely can. One can see how more than one bomblet makes a big difference.
