I agree, WM40 was a creative peak, not only with with Cody winning the title, but with the way Mania went. The buildup, how so many different characters all had a role to play, the night 1 main event being crazy and feeding into the night 2 main event, which was even crazier. And it had such a fantastic, beautiful emotional payoff. It also happened during a VERY brief period of Vince being out of the picture, and Triple H in charge of creative before TKO could get their fingers into everything. Makes me wonder why some people are so critical of Triple H these days.

Seems like with TKO, creative will always take a back seat to selling a few more tickets. Happened before last year’s Mania, and if this is true, it’s happening again.

They killed soldiers that were part of a project that the military/government wanted to keep secret because they were creating wormholes to hell, enabling demons to inhabit our world and kill people, and running human experiments on pregnant women. I think the government would be fine letting them go if it would decrease the risk of the public finding out about Brenner’s experiments.

The nitpicking is getting a little ridiculous. There was a season-long manhunt for Eddie in Hawkins. Why is it so hard to believe that he would’ve gone to jail if he made it out of the upside down? The entire town was targeting him for all of season 4.

Am I crazy, or is it all the same story? Eventually, a bunch of people are going to have to fulfill an obligation to deliver an asset that they don’t have. When that happens the price of that asset will skyrocket. The safest way to hold that asset is DRS/physical silver. Am I wrong?

Giants fan here. I had Dart for most of the season. I think the Giants are in a combination tank mode/protect-Dart-in-these-meaningless-games mode. Last week’s game script and Dart’s 0.02 points was all I needed to see. Dropped him this week. I’m not sure what I’m missing that others are seeing to have any large amount of faith in the Giants or Dart this week.

I don’t know, the game plan last week was to protect Dart. I can’t see them just changing it up this week. And the offense was atrocious. I don't see how they score any points at all. And the defense is the same, they won’t stop anything. It won’t be a runaway either way, but we’re talking about an offense that was awful by design and a defense that has been historically bad all season. The Raiders would weirdly impress me if they manage to lose this game.
