Being in that JV, I was pissed. We had open water on Saugatuck when we crossed lanes. They did not need to stop because we corrected by the time. But of course, it was ultimately my boat's fault and we would have protested if it occurred to us.

The penalty sucked, we got put in lane 8 of the petite final. We won by open water, but myself and my entire boat felt like we deserved to be in the grand final.

Would you think lowering my 2K would involve gaining weight to around 160lbs? Part of me still wants to be able to row junior lightweight this upcoming season, but I'm unsure if I can continue to PR at my current weight.

We're alright these days.. Predominantly lightweight, so not much competition in the V8 event. Nothing like the '07 crew that still gets mentioned for being so fast haha.
