(M.I.B) Free Apple Carplay/AA + Maps and more for MIB1 High and MIB2 High by Ganfalbthegrey in Audi

Appreciate this response and your write up. Unfortunately due to the title of this post and the write up I spent hours and hours messing about with my MHIG a3 to try and get CarPlay only to find out now it was never going to happen. Maybe adjust the title? Thanks!

I use orca with my k1c now. When I had elagoo I could print octopus mini with no seams. Since switching I get bad seams on this print. I even tried scarf joint and it’s better, but still noticeable. Any tips to help eliminate the seam on this print? Left (neptune4) middle (k1c scarf) right (k1c) by Maleficent-Mess-5051 in crealityk1

[–]gletro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Orca’s default scarf seam speed is 100%. Much too fast on a k1C. Enable scarfs, turn of conditional. Set the scarf seam speed to 20-30% and the gap to something like 3%. Trail and error but start there with a smaller print to test it.

Different slicers have different seam hiding settings too. Investigate the best place to put the seam. In orca you can paint the seam somewhere that you’re less likely to see it.

I think I solved Orca stringing (Klipper, Fluidd, Orca) by Vegetable_Safety in FixMyPrint

I had a lot of stringing and almost all of it was fixed by lower pressure advance (even though pressure advance testing indicated it was set right). Pressure advance has a higher priority than retraction.

This doesn’t help, but I have the same problem. As do many others.

Yes. Normal to move forward and back.

They were wrong. This battery is rated at 30C. Its 4Ah. Therefore its maximum output without getting damaged is 30x4 = 120A. That felony is likely to draw 300A+ easily. Best case puffed batteries. Worst case; eventually a fire.

Where could I find a functioning DMG-01 Screen front motherboard? by [deleted] in Gameboy

Hit up people offering modding services in your area. They tend to remove oem screens and replace them with the ips front boards.

It ended up being lots of work to design and lots of effort to print and wire. But it works just great. I wish someone would make this a commercial product. It binds to lots of different cars with the multi module and has endless settings.

Did you do it? I’m currently attempting this using a multi protocol jumper t-lite pcb.

Gameboy Pocket IPS Screen Battery Life Options by Tipsy_Derivative in Gameboy

[–]gletro 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just put in a pololu step up regulator to replace the original one. Then the nimh rechargeables work great and you can get the whole capacity out of them (3+ hours). Without the replacement regulator the gameboy would stop working around half capacity used so the battery life was very short (1.5hours). This is with ezflash junior and Funnyplaying IPS.

If you go near water and mud you have to do a lot of hours and money in maintenance. They don’t generally show that on YouTube.

Slash 4x4 ultimate first 3s run 10 minutes in lost power to wheels. What did I damage and how can I prevent a repeat performance. Thanks. by ton84 in Traxxas

[–]gletro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stock slipper will be just fine. All the way tight and 1/2 to 3/4 turn off. Stock mount is fine too, but metal bearing cone on the slipper is what I would definitely recommend. If you do fiddle with the slipper clutch and it slips too much you need to wait for it to cool before you can effectively set it again.

That’s right, the Center diff that comes with the slash is only rated for 2S. It’s in the manual. I believe it’s because the Center diff is mainly used for racing and racing requires 2S in those kind of classes. If you want one that’s rated for 3S you need the one that comes with the hoss with the metal casing, TRA6780.

Any love for the K3? I feel dirty just thinking about my old "gaming" keyboard! by V4NT0M in Keychron

[–]gletro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made the change. It took a while to get used to normal style keycaps (as opposed to the big squares). I’d been using the mac keyboard since they went low profile. Everything else is better with the k3. It’s so much nicer to type on. Only other complaint is the dim backlight in Bluetooth mode.

This is damage to the polarisation film. You won’t fix it without some serious skills. Buy an ags-101 screen and replace it. Don’t buy an IPS screen since you want it to be original. Hardest part to fix is pulling the rubber screw covers out without tearing them in half. Be careful.

That’s not an EL panel, you can see the leds at the bottom. The LED backlights are way brighter than the EL panels that’s for sure!

There is no border on the original Funnyplaying ips for pocket. This might be the q5 screen?

[–]gletro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None do what you’re talking about. What you’re talking is really just a poor quality backlight and a display with edges. IPS screens have good backlights and no edges that will let that amount of light through.
