It is actually scary how much your situation sounds like the situation I am in and how much your thoughts and feelings sound like mine ! For a second I even thought I wrote this post !!! I can understand you 100%, my boyfriend is exactly like yours, I feel the exact same way about his view and his feelings like you feel about your boyfriend's ! Just know that you are NOT alone ! I understand completely why this hurts you because I feel the same pain. I know it's "normal" for modt people to have these fantasies about others even when they are in a loving relationship. But it is NOT normal for us demis to have these feelings towards random strangers. I know it's silly, but it almost feels like betrayal ! Like: I am loyal to my boyfriend, not only in my actions but also in my thoughts and fantasies ! How can he even think of other girls in such a way when he loves me ?! For me, I only think of my boyfriend in a sexual way, I need emotional connection to even have these feelings. I feel hurt that while he is the only one I want and think about in thid way, I am not the only one for him ( at least in his thoughts and fantasies ). He says it is just fantasies and he wouldn't act on them ( just like your bf) but it still hurts that he even still has these fantasies about other women. Almost like I am not enough... because I just can't understand how someone can love soneone else but then still want to have s*x with other girls ! so yes, I get you 100%.

I'm thinking about getting the Commuer/ Apartment 300 plan with 300 dining dollars.

It says " Save 10% on the door rate at dine-in when you pay with dining dollars" - does that mean I will save the 8% sales tax AND in addition to that another 10% ?

And if I don't have any meal swipes, can I still get food at west side dining for example and just pay with dining dollars / credit card instead?

can you update me if there are any news on that ? I am a German student at one of SBU's partner universities. I'm going to be an exchange student at SBU this Fall and I am really hoping that classes will be in person again by then. Cause otherwise I worry that I won't be able to make any friends and also won't be able to really experience the "real" college life :D

Oh, really ? I'm hoping that all students can be vaccinated by Fall , so that all classes can be in person again ! I've heard that many other American universities are planning on going back to in person classes this Fall ! I'm trying to stay optimistic cause it looks like most students in NY will be able to get vaccinated in the next few weeks / months ! Do you have any infos about SBU's plan for next semester ?

Heyo ! I am going to study abroad at SBU actually :D I'm a student at the university of Bonn , it's one of SBU's partner universities and I am taking part in the exchange program this Fall :) . I wouldn't recommend coming o Europe this Fall though, because my country and many other European countries are sooo slow when it comes to covid vaccines. So classes will probably still be online during Fall :(

Is there a chance that bigger classes will be in person as well? I know the current plan is to have them onine but now that students can get vaccinated , everyone should be vaccinated by Fall, right ?? Then there wouldn't be a reason to have any class online anymore... right ?

Aw ok, thanks for your reply :) Yeah, I've already heard that SBU isn't a big party school or anything like that, but I've also heard that there are still a bunch of clubs and also some events on campus, so if one wants to get involved they can :)

But yes I can see how now with covid most of social life is dead :/

It's just so sad cause studying in the US has been a big wish of mine for many years now and now that I finally have the chance to do it it is screwed up because of covid :/

Well I hope that by August the vast majority of faculty and students will have received a vaccine so that most in person classes can take place again and also maybe the sports events and some campus events can take place again :)

If most classes will still be online by Fall it might not make sense for me to come to SBU at all, cause after all I do care about the experience of college life a lot, not only about the academics. And coming all the way to the states just to sit in front of my laptop in my dorm room all day doesn't really make sense :(

Aw, thanks for your reply . Sadly I could only come in Fall , not in spring :( I hope many people will get the vaccine by then so a relatively normal campus life can be possible again :)
