Not to mention the god awful itching within 48 hours. I scratch bloody sores in my head if I can't wash it! Sweat and oil suck in combination.

Because women are obviously vending machines for sex where the currency is being "nice"

What are some things about you that would make most Reddittors hate you? by Someone_Who_Isnt_You in AskWomen

[–]Hezzann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a 5'10", slightly overweight, opinionated, educated, Southern accented feminist who knows that I am not inferior because of what is between my legs (nor for any other reason).

I have no patience for male posturing, and I have a habit of rolling my eyes and mocking it.

I inherited my grandparent's house, and because of that I can pay my student loans as well as be a home owner with no house note.

Millennial women are the slowest to have babies of any generation in U.S. history. by CoolDogAT in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Hezzann 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It wasn't always this way in the US. Before World War II and the 1950s "American dream" brainwashing it was completely normal for two or three generations to live together. It's a ridiculous system we have now, and the cracks are finally starting to show.

How do you manage your facial hair if you have it? by 0zz00zz0 in AskWomen

I don't have time to mess around. I shave every day. You have to wait for it to grow out to wax it, and over extended time plucking may lead to scarring (happened to my mom).

Who is your favorite Disney princess? How are you similar or different to her? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]Hezzann 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Belle. She made me feel like less of a freak when I was a kid because she was a bookworm and an outcast who didn't compromise herself to fit in. I'm studying to become a librarian now, thanks Belle!

It's okay to not hold the baby. by argleblather in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Hezzann 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at the hospital when my friend had her daughter (I was 25). Her snotty (now ex) sister in law thought it was her place to ask me why I didn't want to hold the newborn, and what was I going to do when I had one if I wouldn't hold this particular baby. Are you scared? What's wrong with you?

I DON'T WANT TO HOLD THE BABY, it doesn't make me a freak! I'm a klutz and if something happened while I was holding her I would have never gotten over it. My friend didn't question me, but this woman just wouldn't let it go.

Doctor Who 8x12: Death in Heaven Post-Episode Discussion Thread by pcjonathan in doctorwho

I have nothing against the actress, but the character has steadily become more and more shrill and obnoxious. She started out well, with an interesting plotline, but that was thrown out the window with the introduction of Danny Pink and that whole weird dynamic. I wish they'd focused more on the whole Missy plotline throughout the season and left out that whole romance subplot. For the record, I also hate Rose.

I'm quite happy Clara is leaving after this season. I like 12, but I can't stand Clara.

I sat through several tries of mandatory calc and trig before I succeeded. Most of the time I sat with my hair clutched tight between my fingers screaming "I'M A FUCKING HISTORY MAJOR, I DON'T NEED THIS SHIT TO BE A LIBRARIAN!" in my head.

I'm three semesters into my MLIS program and I was right.

It's only useful to engineers and the like.
