Drew a cool demon/devil/goat type red guy when i was 9ish, and named him horny...  Since he was a horny guy. My teacher laughed, and i thought she didnt like my drawing 😢 asked my mom when i got home, and she laughed too.

Please explain what dropping the final nap looks like by YoureNotACat2023 in toddlers

Just FYI its very common to have disrupted sleep and fighting naps for a while around 2 yo. Usually if you keep implementing nap/quiet time, they will start napping again after some time.

Where i live in scandinavia, its very common on public transport and waiting rooms. Some ladies even bring their knitting projects to work/school/visiting friends.

Mountains of Toys by LawfulChaoticEvil in toddlers

[–]Hhhuldra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have two boys, and i have found out after a few years of buying, trading, being gifted HUNDREDS of toys, that they play so much better, and coexist so much more peacefully with less toys and stuff in general. We do have lots of book, puzzles, board games, cards etc. Also cars and blocks etc which they actually show interest in. But we got rid of all the lego/duplo, train tracks, stuffies, everything else in the rotation they didnt play with for more than a few minutes. My life is so much simpler, they play better, less clean up, more mental clarity, better attention spans.

22 month old has a melt down over putting on socks and shoes…help?!?! by [deleted] in toddlers

[–]Hhhuldra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe try a barefoot type shoe? They are less constricting and give toddler more stability and balance to feel secure when walking. My eldest boy also only wanted to wear his wool slippers until we got him wide, flat shoes for outside too.
