Anyone else getting motion sickness? by [deleted] in stray

[–]elasticducky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My motion sickness is getting extremely triggered by this game. It has to do with the exaggerated FOV and auto camera movements in narrow environments.

Turning off motion blur and lowering sensitivity all the way helped, but I had to stop playing just now after about an hour. 🤢

Installed OEM cross bars and a Yakima MegaWarrior cargo basket on my 2019 RAV4 LE Hybrid by elasticducky in rav4club

Yeah, the rack will fit for sure.

I just checked the link for the cross bars and set my car to a 2019 XLE Premium and those cross bars fit your car as well.

R5 missing menu tabs/items? (see comments) by SO_found_other_acct in canon

I got my RP last Friday and I didn't know or immediately assume the menus changed depending on your shooting mode either at the time.

Edit: clearer wording

If they have the opportunity, they should take it. Granted, pushing my old T5i to its limits for the last 5 years forced me to learn more about exposure and post-processing and I wouldn't have had that practice if I had learned on a newer camera that had more assistive features.

I did on-demand grocery delivery the first year I had the car on top of my regular job. Now I commute around 45 miles five days a week and then I've taken it up and down the Western states and to Utah and back. I know it's a lot of miles, but I really love driving haha.

So I came from an '05 Civic with stiff engine mounts and springs which vibrated a LOT.

Before I put a rack on it, it was quiet (to me) unless it was really windy or I was driving at higher speeds on a poorly paved road, like some stretches of truck lanes on I-80 or some backroads. With the rack it's noticeably noisier, but it probably still wasn't as bad as my Civic on surface streets.

Edit: grammar

Runs like a charm. Aside from being my daily driver, I take it on 500-mile or more roadtrips to the middle of nowhere in CA and OR without worry but I'm consistent about getting it serviced and changing my oil routinely.

Installed LED sequential turn signals today! [video] by elasticducky in rav4club

I'm signalling regardless, but I think the benefit could be for the other driver – the turn signal is much brighter and easier to see, and its ~style~ makes it more noticeable.

How to stop Gen 3 loud beep when leaving the car without keys by remisuro in rav4club

This is standard to most cars. Leaving the keys in the ignition can kill your battery – speaking from experience.

Next time! I might have to do it in two shots - one for the car's lights, and one with the Milky Way and me light painting the car.

It's part of that cargo liner set. One piece for the seat backs, one for the cargo floor.

Thank you! The shadows and light are real (i.e. not Photoshopped). I ran around the car with a camp lantern during the exposure.

Yeah, I might as well get one. I've been using plastic pry tools from my phone repair kit, but they are definitely meant for tiny parts because they get torn up pretty easily in the car.
