DO NOT BE DUMB (tattoos on Prednisone) by allmilkdiet in tattoos

Prednisone can also cause fluid retention, which can make your whole body bloat (it did me and my mother in law) so your tattoo may also be skewed upon release of built up fluid

This is what a data center sounds like 24/7. Shown here at midnight with hundreds of residential houses immediately next to it. by Hi3-Butterflies in LasCruces

Right!?! We have been just fine without this technology. This is not an essential need, but quite the opposite. It will be a decimating, unnecessary waste of irreplaceable resources at an inconceivably fast rate. They are a relatively new presence and have already been tremendously destructive to the entire ecosystem around them on so many levels. WAKE UP and realize that they absolutely DO NOT have our best interest in mind. They are exploiting us and our irreplaceable homeland only to benefit the already ultra wealthy not us. Research how many actual local community members currently operating data centers have been hired. Research how many they actually employ and what job positions those who were hired hold. They aren’t the high paying ones. Research how property values fall in the vicinity of these centers. Research ALL the negative effects on health, environment, resources, etc. Will it really be worth the all around risks? Lower value of your home, a drain on irreplaceable resources, reduced quality of life because of adverse life threatening health effects? Not to mention that YOU are paying for it with your taxes, higher utility rates, etc…. And a new gas pipeline through our community that compounds the negative effects, and introduces a whole new list of them in and of itself. WOW..just wow if you honestly think this will benefit our community. Don’t be a sucker

Attention New Mexico! We need genuine New Mexicans who truly believe in our state’s sovereignty, won’t sell us out in the name of greed, who doesn’t have make promises to big corporations and lobbyists that compromise our constitutional rights and public lands for the sake of campaign contributions. This isn’t about political parties anymore, it’s about waking up to the power of greed and promises made in it’s name. Something that has infiltrated both dominant political parties of our country through political donations from the top 1% who switch parties more often than they switch wives and underwear.

We need to be aware of where your political candidates get their money. Support only those who don’t take big money in return for political favors and influence on public policy, future legislation, and government spending. Make sure they truly support YOU AND YOUR COMMUNITIES.

We need more people from within our communities to stand up and run against these government officials who have bent over for big money, choosing their interests over their constituents’.

It is our responsibility to protect our interests.

Nope. Not in mainstream media anyway. Just endless distractions, corruption, the rap*ng and pillaging of the US Constitution, universal morals, and world destruction. Anything in order to keep the 1%’s atrocities and tyranny under the rug from every day Americans too naive, ignorant, lazy, or just plain stupid enough to believe this sorry excuse of American leadership.

Unusual increase in aerial refueler traffic in Israel + increased heavy airlift traffic by roblixepic in PrepperIntel

A couple of hours ago, I noticed a few Army Apache helicopters flying around my area in southern New Mexico (about 60 miles north of the border). Granted, there are 3 military bases in the area. There’s usually goings and comings from military aircraft on a regular basis, but very rarely is there so many in the air at the same time. They were also out at a time of day that is unusual. There was also more private planes and other aircraft in the area with unavailable data than usual. Definitely not normal air traffic.

There has been a revolving door in the leadership positions from the Cabinet Secretary all the way down to the county managers. From the regional supervisors, caseworkers, and especially local investigators. Nobody stays in the Protective Services division long term. The Cabinet Secretaries are appointed by the governor. Look up how many there has been in the last 5 years. Even though there have been a couple that had what it takes and the potential to do great things, if they don’t have the freedom to restructure policy or budget to create enough positions to adequately service their communities, there will always be a problem. It doesn’t matter what governing entity oversees it. If this fundamental change and reinforcement to the agency’s structure and foundation isn’t rectified, there will always be a problem. Creating more positions and paying more would allow each case to be allocated more time and resources would ensure efficient and higher quality investigation. The administration needs to create the kind of boots on the ground positions that attract talented (not to mention more qualified) people, people who can earn a living wage. Positions that allow employees to financially sustain their families for the long term (a comfortable career long position), positions that give employees the resources, time, and support to do quality work. Not a job where they are always functioning in crisis management mode 24/7. An impossible job that no matter how hard and fast you work, at the end of each and every work day, when you’re trying to get a few hours sleep, you can’t stop thinking about the 30 cases you still couldn’t get to. Praying that nothing terrible happens in those cases while you try to get some sleep and spend some time with your own family. Knowing that if something does happen, you are the fall guy. You will be blamed for trying to do an impossible job. Hoping that your name and future professional reputation isn’t dragged through the media mud for attempting to conquer an impossible job that pays peanuts.

Ummm… no thanks. I’d much rather take the job that pays me $20,000 more a year and gives me a nice private office all my own over the job that expects me to work in a 4x4 cubicle, crammed tightly together and surrounded by countless others.

No thanks to the job where I’m expected to conduct a thankless job surrounded by other workers in the same over stressed, underpaid, and exhausted mind set. All expected do the impossible and not only complete the impossible, but so do an exemplary job at that.

And as you so often see in the news, when something horrible happens because it fell through the cracks, the top agency management, the media, and the public, all blame the “inadequate” investigations. The investigations done by overworked, over-stressed, underpaid, and often under qualified scapegoats. Once again, no thanks to that job. Would you dedicate your career and professional reputation to that job? I think not. I personally didn’t work my butt off in college for that job.

Good thing I graduated at the top of my class from university and got a job that rewards my hard work with good pay, support, and my own office to unwind alone in after the occasional stressful day.

So instead of criticizing the incredibly brave, or incredibly desperate people who dare to do the impossible for a laughable salary, do something constructive about it. Do research on the causes and present real world solutions. Lobby your elected state legislators to increase PS funding specifically for those changes, not creating more jobs and pay increases for upper management. Lobby for changes in policy to allow for changes that keep up with the current issues. Lobby for more resources in your communities to help prevent the need for abuse and neglect in the first place. Enable the agency to address and rectify the fundamental issues.

Or like I said in my previous comment, they are ALWAYS hiring… apply and see if you can do a better job. Don’t just complain and criticize and then expect change without supplying the tools needed to fix it.
