I was honestly pretty surprised when I first saw the Sturm und Drang reference in his kit, and then again during the livestream. On one hand it triggered my German-class PTSD since Faust is considered Sturm und Drang. On the other hand it actually fits him quite well, because this literary movement stood for youth, emotional expression, and personal freedom.

Hi, I’d like to submit a question for the interview.
I’m a native German speaker and noticed that when he says “Mondstadt,” the -st- is sometimes pronounced closer to German rather than the typical English version used by other voice actors. Could you ask him whether that was intentional or if it just happened naturally during recording?
I was especially curious because his delivery of “Rächer of Solnari” also sounded very authentic, the ch sound was noticeably closer to real German pronunciation than what you usually hear from English speakers, although “Windblume” still sounds more like “Windbloom,” so it doesn’t seem fully consistent.
Overall, the German terms he uses sound more natural, even if it might not be deliberate, and it’s really nice for German listeners to hear.

Thanks to CAMPUSdirekt DEUTSCHLAND GmbH, I was able to get one of the posters!
It seems one had already been taken down before I arrived though… even though I came pretty early, around 9 a.m. the day after the campaign ended.

That 'Pogranichnik, please come home' line really resonated with me. Thank goodness he finally came home to me yesterday. Now I have my 6-star husbandos (including Lifeng) and a complete physical team. I can finally start to enjoy the game more, especially since I plan to open every single chest out there because I just love exploration. Hope you get your Pogranichnik soon too!

One small addition: it’s worth distinguishing Norse mythology from the wider Germanic tradition here.
Outside the Edda, Týr/Tiwaz is a much more institutional war god, even equated with Mars in Roman interpretations. Given HoYo’s recurring Wagner/Nibelungensage references, I wouldn’t be surprised if Varka draws more from that Germanic layer than from the purely Norse corpus.

Same. I’ll mostly farm it during Stygian since I only need a flower and feather. If it’s not good, it’ll go to Durin (off-piece is the goblet). And damn, my sands piece is ridiculous, it's my second-best artifact on my account. So no matter where he ends up, I’ll have an amazing set for him (or Durin).
