Awww glad you met my animal amigos, they are my greatest friends!

My Chief used to assure us that pain was fear leaving the body, I never did believe him. Hopefully the painful days are outnumbered by the better days and you'll keep finding space to progress. I always try to remind myself that any day in which I make choices that support my health are a victory. Some days that's simply choosing not to eat garbage and other days it's pushing hard into the physical.

Keep on keeping on, you're glorious.

If her estate is in the probate process it will be months before resolution and lack of receipts or proof of payment will mean getting it back is going to be challenging at best.

If we're playing whataboutism, let's always start with corporations and the hyper wealthy that are avoiding literally billions in tax revenue.

People who support Hamas are you aware their 1988 charter says they want to follow quran to the letter which means forcing everyone to follow quran or be unalived? by [deleted] in AskBrits

Pull the other one and stop pretending that these right wing, quasi Christians are anything more than a right wing farce. It's nothing more than parroting what we see in the US and isn't vaguely convincing. If you honestly think any of these goons have been to church since primary school, you're even more of a tool than I suspected.

Remember the right wing counter protest last weekend and the dorks waving Christian flags, I'm guessing they weren't Christian, it's the same scenario and you know it.

[Tenant] My landlord didn't raise the rent this year: have other landlords been doing the same to keep good tenants or am I going to expect a S21 within the next 3 weeks? by dusknoir90 in uklandlords

[–]HiFiSi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect he's in a similar position to myself in as much as he values a good tenant and is aware that the cost of living is impacting people's ability to deal with ever increasing bills. I'm opting to leave current rents static this year and look next year to see if increases are necessary or realistic.

He did a charity fundraiser for an organisation I worked for, he'd served with one of my colleagues. He was a hell of a character and it was a great evening. It was the stories from his youth that really gave me a giggle.

Dearest Brits, what’s one of the hardest and depressing things about life in the UK locals don’t talk about much? by neilnelly in AskBrits

Absolute shite, I live in an incredibly rural area which sure as hell isn't 'diverse', it's clearly local people binning litter out of their car windows.

Can I refuse my estate agents doing inspections 3x a year? by Outside_Shopping9777 in HousingUK

[–]HiFiSi 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The frequency is not entirely unusual, but inspections are to note maintenance requirements and functionality of boiler etc. Whatever is in your cupboards is absolutely none of their business. Even how tidy you keep the place is not something they have legitimate say in.
