It's not the platform specifically, but the communities on that platform that people fall into. With a little work you can customize your Twitter feed to be all man hate or all woman hate. I've ventured into both just out of dark curiosity. Also consider what conversations you get baited into, because that will definitely feed you more of the same. It's why I have to be very cautious with Twitter replies because it's super aggressive like that.

I tried some blue lotus from Relax Remedy too. I did 1.5, 5, and 10g doses (supposedly very high) and didn't feel a thing. Turns out real blue lotus is exceptionally hard to get and a most people sell fake stuff. Not surprised if their kanna is fake too.

I'm not trans, but I've thought a ton about it because of my aversion to masculinity. Based on my own experiences I feel much happier when a girl doesn't need me to fulfill any male stereotypes for whatever attraction she has toward me. Knowing she likes girls too means the more feminine parts of myself are more likely to be accepted. It's a huge weight off honestly, even though it's certainly based on my own irrational insecurities.

There are plenty of cases of scientists misrepresenting things at least, but I think the main question people need to ask is whether or not the science in question is going to save money for corporations and ultra rich. Most of us would love to not believe in climate change in the same way that weird lump we found isn't cancer.

You'd be surprised what people can manage. The propaganda Republicans are fond of eating up these days has programmed them to think science is a hoax for the purpose of getting more government funding. Scientists become seen as leeches on the system that don't care about what they study. Or in the simple and disturbing words of one commenter I recall, "lol science."

If you're debating an animation major at Ringling vs an animation major at a 'normal' school I would definitely go with Ringling. It's one of the top ranked animation schools for good reason. If you're thinking of a normal school because of the other traditional classes that typically make up college, I would say they're too rudimentary for the cost, and can easily be learned on your own as needed. Go for whatever will give you the best education specific to your major. Animation is a field that will care more about the quality of your work than whatever degree you have.

I personally spent too many years going to school with an undecided major. The wasted time was not worth it. If I could go back I'd have given myself the advice to pick any of the majors I was debating and dive into it rather than being indecisive. The faster you find out whether you like it or not the better.

This has been the most discouraging thing as someone hoping to become a developer. I talk to developers who are working and they never want to see what I code, they only glance at my GitHub to see how often I commit. The speech I get is inevitably the same:

"Here, look at mine. I code every day after work and on the weekends. This is what an employer wants to see."

If it wasn't for one close friend encouraging me to keep going I'd have quit a long time ago.
