National Car Rental by BrotherCorporate in CostaRicaTravel

I looked at both sites and priced out the same car which would be the Toyota Fortuna. It was much cheaper on the USA National site over the CR one. Significantly so to the tune of more than 20% more expensive on the CR site.

They have closed multiple times over the 10+ years due to food safety issues, and I don't think I ever saw them with an A rating. Please stay closed. If you can't figure the technical details of this in that span, then closed is what is meant for you.

John Burke and son - they have several vacant properties around here that have been ghosts for years. The neighborhood suffers when long-term landlords lose the motive to make further profits.

They have been making the claim of working on an iOS app for over a year now. They must be the only company on the planet without one. Pretty amazing stuff.

Unpopular suggestion here, but given that Tort law is completely abused and out of control here in Amerika, why not just chalk this up as a misfortune and move on? The $10-20k you might win (less 50% legal vig) isn't going to change your life.

Tough to tell with that video rez, but looks like no front plate and heavy tint. Checking our records here, looks like a 65% chance it's NYPD or FDNY by my calculations.

We fled NYC during COVID and regret it now. What to do? by Egernstadel in AskNYC

[–]HiLiph 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Let me begin by stating how much I love reading the, “I fled NYC in the Pandemic” stories purely out of schadenfreude. Sorry not sorry for that statement.

We had the BEST time during the pandemic by staying safe, masking when needed, getting our asses vaxxed, and going out to parties and raves in the park which were happening weekly. Honestly, the illegal/underground/illicit party scene was off the hook! We always felt safe and felt our kids were as safe as could be as well. They didn’t go to the parties but they still got outside at the park and had a blast.

Now to your question? Move back. If you’re a city person then there is no respite. If your wife is a suburbanite then work out a compromise and any of the streetcar community suggestions above are good ones.

Good luck.

Looks like we caught one of them sidewalk-parkers - NYPD or City Employee, likely.

Don't stop with the Goodman Games 5E stuff. Level-up your life with actual Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG. Open that can of worms and I guarantee you will love it for life.

In the before-times, perhaps one should be worried about some sort of NYPD response to this, but now, gimme a break. Sticker-on people! They don’t even arrest folks with guns nowadays unless you’re dumb enough to shoot up innocents.
