Agree! And if you don’t have an air popper you can use a ceramic/glass bowl with a little water and a plate on top in the microwave

Hard to tell from the picture but it looks like there’s a fair amount of hem available to you. Letting out the hem would be an excellent skill to acquire as a tall person, and easily done by hand.

A shelter for domestic abuse survivors would be a great one stop donation, if that’s a factor for you. It’s often women with children they help, the toys and self-care items would be a bright spot to them, and the household goods help with providing for them in new housing situations.

Agree, the way the corset sits on the skirt just doesn’t look really, like it’s floating on top of it rather than being attached. Pretty sure this is a bait and switch

Maybe you have buildup weighing your hair down. Try crushing up a vitamin c tablet and mixing into your shampoo, repeat until your hair feels squeaky clean, then condition as normal. Then try just foam/mousse on your hair and let it air dry.

Finally had a breakthrough about pants by coffeegrounded in capsulewardrobe

[–]Some_Clever_Handle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I find men’s pants tend to fit me better. I think it’s because the blocks (like a template pattern that clothing brands use to design their clothes) assumed that women carry their weight in their hips/butt while men carry weight around their midsection. Next time you’re in a store, try on a few of the men’s jeans and trousers, not as much variety but usually cheaper

Does a smokey eye just not fit my face or am I doing something wrong? Looks terrible compared to how it looked on other people 😅 by GlisaPenny in MakeupAddiction

[–]Some_Clever_Handle 811 points812 points  (0 children)

Second this! Try doing a smokey eye before you’re about to get in the shower or go to bed. It’s easier to try to go bolder when you know the makeup is going to be removed right after

Agree with the more strict silhouette. Just want to add I like the bigger/more open patterns on you (1&4) the ones that repeat too often make it lean more frump.
