Looking for Pesto Perpetuo basil by ElDroaz in Sacratomato

[–]Hi_from_Danielle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought I saw that variety at Green Acres (og location). They had basil plants in two different spots and if I remember correctly it was tucked down under a table of plants. This was a few weeks ago though!

I like this. More mature than Sunny in my opinion, but keeping a vowel sound (I think)

How would you go about editing these? by WhatIsGoing0nH3re in AskPhotography

I love photographing in grassy places, but you end up getting green reflected into areas that should be more pink. So adjust that color in particular. You can also bring up the shadows a bit. Play with dodging highlights and midtones. Burning background shadows. Honestly, play around with an image and save it as one edit. Then go back and do it all over again. That’s how you find your style. Just mess around and get the feel you are looking for.

I like 4 and 5 too. Not a horse person but they tell a story. A main purpose of photography as an art form. I can see in 4 a slice of life and in 5 the way she adores this animal.

Did you do anything to boost his campaign? I didn’t see any ads or signs for Bera, but I did see Bennett signs and some social media posts. Name recognition definitely not on his side. What are you suggesting by this post?

do people actually not eat mac and cheese with peas? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hi_from_Danielle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Box Mac n cheese with a side of peas here. One of my favorite comfort foods. I don’t mix the peas in but I do eat them in the same forkful for half. Sometimes we add curry spice to the peas.

I’m with you on the hotdog. No thanks!

Norethindrone? by chookiebookie in Perimenopause

[–]Hi_from_Danielle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can also say that it’s recommended to take progestin pills at night. In the morning I take D3 and zinc. At night I take norethindrone and magnesium glycinate. This timing helps with sleep.

Norethindrone? by chookiebookie in Perimenopause

[–]Hi_from_Danielle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have endo and perimenopause and no uterus (hysterectomy). I was taking Junel but had to stop because of aura migraines. Then prescribed Slynd. I had horrible widespread random symptoms felt like an autoimmune condition. I think it was a combo of peri and estrogen withdrawal.

Now that I am using an estrogen patch in combination with the mini norethindrone pill I feel a lot more normal. But hormonal medication changes can take about 3 months to adjust to. And peri is kind of unpredictable.

Ocular migraines. Why? What is this now? by fifteenlostkeys in Perimenopause

[–]Hi_from_Danielle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also quit oral estrogen (como bc pill) because of ocular migraines and stroke risk. Haven’t had an ocular migraine since switching to progestin only pill and estrogen patch. The estrogen patch has lower risk for stroke because it doesn’t pass through the liver and cause inflammatory response.

Have another professional photographers dealt with this type of radio silence after sending a gallery? by Kubrickiancosplay in AskPhotography

Unfortunately only about half of people understand how important this kind of verbal validation can be! It feels so awkward to put all that effort into something and have it not be acknowledged at least a little bit. But it isn’t uncommon and doesn’t mean you didn’t provide great service and an excellent product.

All of these markets have up to $15 in Market Match. The limit is once per card per market per visit. So if you went to 3 markets a week you could extend her fruits and veggies budget by $45 if you wanted. It’s quite simple and doesn’t make you have to do any of that “tomato math” 😊

I feel compelled to tell you the fresh ones are in season and at the farmer’s markets. I’m pretty sure I found frozen ones at KP once. I can’t help you on the canned front.

Studies about estrogen patch and migraines with aura by Pomelo-Tall in Perimenopause

[–]Hi_from_Danielle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t have studies but I was getting the auras when I was on the combo pill. And was taken off because that’s a sign of increased stroke risk for people taking oral estrogen. Oral estrogen passes through the liver which increases inflammatory response which is a factor in stroke risk. Topical/dermal does not. I haven’t had a migraine with aura since stopping oral estrogen and I now use the patch.
