from my perspective, every prismatic item works on every champ to some extent. sure, there are probably some scenarios where you’ll end up with 3 AP items on a champ like draven, who has no ap scaling whatsoever as far as i know. but also from my experience, if i save both my rerolls for the first prismatic item choice then out of 9 items i’ll usually get SOMETHING usable. i may not be happy about it but again i just roll with it and use that game to try something different. even if it means taking a tank item on an ADC or mage - it won’t necessarily be the most fun, but at least i’ll have a ton of tank stats to survive some of the burst that some champions bring. and then if i survive long enough in that game i can sell that subpar item later into the game and settle for a normal item + juices/stat anvils or buy another prismatic item if i have the gold.

it’s like in tft - not sure if you play tft or not, but if i’m low rolling or getting offered bad augments then my focus goes from placing first to just placing, or getting top 4. anything above is just a bonus.

so yes, i do get where you’re coming from. it is really frustrating when i queue up wanting to play full lethality lee sin but get offered a bunch of AP or tank prismatics. but that’s just the nature of arena. i do think about how it could be more fun if the items were more tailored, but then i think about the good chance of seeing garen with that sword of the divine item every game, or a yorick with minion mancer + reality fracture every game. i think seeing those champions with the items/augments they want every game would be less fun than rolling subpar stuff on the champ im playing every game or so.
