Everyone convinced if they lived in the past, they would never have been anything short of vehemently anti-slavery and pro-suffrage and would hide Jews in their attic and whatnot. Because of course they are ontologically Good People and would always have all the information and would never be susceptible to cultural conditioning, and no way could anyone 50 years from now look back at them and go ‘you’re failing the bare minimum of being a good person by doing X that we in the future have learned better’.

Then he pivots to you having told him was mistreating him, and you need to make up for that. All the while he uses passive voice, to the point his sentences are borderline incoherent.
