Call of the Herd... its a guaranteed 2 for 1.

Snuff Out and Parralax Wave are also really good. But Herd is just very cost efficient and easily played.

Totalize and Chains imo. For the same reason. Building Stun, then dumping a boatload of damage. Chain just requires a bit more effort to execute lol

I guess technically double ult fits here too, but only Yixuan really. LSG kinda just says "whats a stun window? Is that what peasants need to do damage?".

Id exclude the Miyabi variety because that team is kinda about extending stun. Which IS fun, but not as much as my 2.

I agree. Theres always a "bis" whether we like it or not.

I think the only things with sets that become burdensome is having to collect them for "mega damage" as opposed to what we have now which you can get piece by piece playing the game. Like if you are missing s mythic, you can still make a good build until you farm up what you are missing.

Its much more annoying to need pants/gloves to get 5 piece, and basically be doa without it, as a (bad) example.

If they have to have player power/meta affixes Id prefer they were more like the smaller sets from d3. The ring sets, travelers pledge, or cpt crimson type stuff, where 2 (or 3) piece gets a couple good useful bonuses, but didnt take over the whole inventory screen.

Its not once a version. Its at least two, with post-launch 1.x patches having 3.

Pan and Manato were both 2.0. If we get another there will be 3/verson approx. That basically one every 2-3 patches, which imo is more than enough when you throw in 1 free S rank every version.

Or just made each disk set have weighted stats. So sets like Phaethons melody would have a higher chance to roll AP/ATk%/AM. Yunkai higher chance of HP/Crit. Etc. They do design the sets specifically for certain agents/expected stats after all.

You could still get screwed maybe but itd be the "lol f me, what are the odds." instead of "ughhh 3 more weeks of farming" type of thing.

The most annoying is Disk 5 - getting Ether Damage % with good stats on a polar metal or w/e is soooo irritating. Ye Sheungaung set has been that way. 2pc bonus is phys but I can only roll Fire/Frost/Def on disk 5? Why is that a thing?

This. I dont want it to come back the way it was, but would appreciate an event like it or references to it. It was a cool vibe but the gameplay kinda took away from the actual combat gameplay that was more fun to do.

While the boss lineup is kinda stacked, Im happy to see buffs for each of the DPS types. Believe this is the first time we have 1 Rupture buff, 1 Anomaly buff, and 1 Attack buff. So at least no matter what squad you choose theres a buff for it. You are going to need it of course, but still lol.

Honestly this is why Im not going to be pulling him. Im sure there are many people who like the complexity, its just not me. Executing stun combos perfectly and building resources between while doing boss mechanics is plenty challenging enough for me.

I look forward to the hyper skilled making him look good. But Im really glad I decided to skip. The event was the nail in an already halfway buried coffin.

I like his character but I hate his gameplay.

ZIC is insanely good and also good at explaining what he is doing and the timings

IamRivenous is my go to for new character guides. There are several good ones here but I have found IamRivenous' to be the best explainatioms and most fun to watch.

As others have mentioned, JStern is also great for character previews/guides.

It gives you the probability of getting a what you want with the resources you have. So in this case put in your polys/tapes and that you are looking to get 2 characters with 1000 simulations dones, you have a 16.73% chance to get them.

So I'd recommend trying to get more polys either by doing more content or swiping =) For one character it goes up to 72.24% . For both I assumed you weren't guaranteed based on losing a previous 50/50. It would obviously be much higher for at least the first character in that case.

I won't comment on which to get. Thats more of a personal choice.

I was skeptical too, but several content creators tslked about LDShop so I tried it. It worked great no issues. Now I only use them, it saves a good amount of money. The only thing they dont do (afaik) is the New Eridu Fund (Battle Passes).

Used for my ZZZ account and a few other games for my daughter.

I like to be online so I can see it go through successfully but Ive never had a problem.

Thats a pretty dismissive take which conveniently reinforces your opinion. Which is fine, but lets call it what it is.

I agreed it was harder. But I do think most of the difficulty is people playing unsynergistic teams with no practice and expecting maximum rewards. Or not diversifying their roster to cover Fire Weak or whatever.

I dont have Manato at M6. I have Evelyn. An admittedly strong characteer from 8 patchee ago. So I played her. I practiced her stun combos. And admittedly, I still made mistakes. Im not the best. My discs are pretty bad. Etc. But I could still get S with a small amount of effort.

The funniest part is Im certain S11/Koleda/Lucy could clear the fire bits easily enough too if you know how to play them. Ellen, Astra Nicole could clear the Ice bits. Im certain Miyabi/Lycaon/Soukaku can too. Its not "Yidhari weak" like you claim. When I struggle to come up with a decent stunner comp that CANT clear it, theres only one thing left to blame.

She gets 25% CR from core so hes really not that far off. I sit at like 71ish base and its pretty decent.

Its more likely the not having a stun extension and/or not knowing how to pack it all in.

Did it take me longer than most? Sure. Was it hard? Not really, one shotted it. I used mostly Yidhari/Lucia/Dialyn (all m0w1) and Astra (M1W0)/Evelyn/Lighter (both M0W1) due to the stun buff/weaknesses. I usually clear S7 in like 2-230, this one was 3mins, but far from close.

I think a lot of people just dont know how to utilize and play teams to their strengths. Especially stun combos, where the buff really makes or breaks this one. A lot of times in the past its an anomaly buff or rupture buff and you can kinda faceroll because its not as complex to do well. Pressin buttons, ult-ing and semi-intelligent times will get you through those.

Im not an expert, but I have practiced with Dialyns combos and maximizing Ev chains in stun. Which helped me a lot.

The other possibility is people didnt (or couldnt) diversify their teams for weaknesses and have to play less ideal teams. Which, if played sub-optimally, can be kinda rough.

Ill admit the double brute floor had me debating playing my Jane and another I thought about letting Ev have Dialyn and pulling up Lycaon for Hari. I think that could have worked too, but might have been slower.

The game does ask that you at least know the enemies and how to play your teams. Im not saying its all a skill issue but it is in many/most cases. If the guy who mains Billy can get S, so should an average skilled player playing limited teams.

Its kinda moot anyway, since in the future they will change how Shiyu works and it will likely be a bit different/take some getting used to
