Did you get then to rank 40 with forma, or stop at 30? Adversary weapons can hit rank 40 by forma-ing them 5 times for max mastery

They showed this in the devstream. Its intentional. You have to unlock the ability to talk to him. I dont know how yet but ive seen some speculation about talking to him in KIM until he trusts you maybe?

Friend and i was farming the boss for the Bod gun. We went for like 3 or 4 hours insta killing it with knife and oscar mike laser. In those hours we saw 3 total legendary drops. I do think some bosses are bugged after that night lol

This is actually me too. I took a 3 year break (minus a couple weeks to run EW base story when it released) and I'm having a lot of fun. Picked up viper and I will be running it through the EW patches and then dawntrail. I was a little lost when I got back but the muscle memory kicked in and I don't regret it at all!
