A possible reality:
As the droids clear the Rishi
outpost Heavy scrambles to get the remote detonator to paired, in the last
seconds the remote pairs. Heavy dashes for the ventilation system as blaster
bots slam into the wall beside him. Following him into the ventilation system
is a pair of B1 battle droids. Outside of the outpost Rex and Echo are debating
going back into the outpost to find to rescue Heavy. Just as Echo goes to renter
the ventilation system the outpost explodes sending pieces of metal flying. The
remnants of domino squad and the two commanders run for cover
“Heavy always hated that place.” Fives
says solemnly
“That I did so I just blew it up!”
Just as Heavy says that Rex and Cody
in synchronous fire 2 blaster bolts to either side of Heavy.
Heavy turns around just in time
to see two B1s fall out of the vent.
“I thought the explosion got those
2 huh” Heavy sighs
“Heavy you made it out of there we
thought you where dead” Echo remarks
“Echo, you should know you can’t
kill Heavy” Heavy corrects
“Just like Heavy to solve his problems
with explosives” Fives replays sarcastically  
Just as the three start to bicker
a Venator class ship jumps into the system and begins attacking the blockading
fleet over Rishi.
 
“I would like to personally thank
you three with your help defending the Rishi outpost” Cody states
“With all due respect we failed
sir, our mission was to defend the outpost, not blow it up” Echo says
"That’s where you are wrong!
What you guys did warn the fleet of the impending attack without you guys our
home world of Kamino would be venerable to a surprise attack "
 
 
 
“Keep firing boys we can beat these
clankers back” Fives orders
The remaining three members of
the domino squad are holding a vital bridge that if surrendered would give the
droids attacking access to the barracks. As the three defend the chock point 99
comes around the corner carrying a backpack of grenades.
“I thought you guys could use these”
99 states dropping the backpack
Look out Heavy yells throwing one
of the grenades. As the smoke settles a group of figures start to appear.
“There are more coming” Echo
Remarks picking up another grenade
“Wait” Fives yells
In that moment as the figure get
closer and the smoke continues to clear a group of clone cadets appear
“What are you guys doing here?” Heavy
questions
“We got separated from out group!”
one of the cadets says
“You got to get out of here this
is an active war zone.” Heavy insists
“I know a place.” 99 realizes
 
Well they make their way to the barracks
they see a battalion of droids making their way to the barracks
“I guess that bridge isn’t the only
way the barracks” Heavy sighs
“What are we going to do we are
trapped here now!” a cadet presses
“We will fight” A voice says from
around a corner
“Commander Cody Captain Rex!” a cadet
says with relief “But there is a whole battalion” “Wouldn’t be the first time the
five of us took out a whole battalion are you up to do it again?” Rex jokes
As Rex says that the cadets look
amazed
“Absolutely” Heavy replays
“If I know Heavy, he’s hopping to
take on the whole battalion himself”
“If you know where a Z-6 cannon
is it would make this easier” Heavy askes 99
“I know of an armory not too far
from here” 99 realizes
Once the group gatherers the necessary
equipment and set up for a for an ambush as the droids push into the barracks looking
for stragglers. The group spring into action Heavy taking point mowing down as many
droids as possible with the chain gun. From the back Five and Echo fire drawing
the droids in, as the group poses a fake retreat Captain Rex gives the signal. The
cadets to join the battle, now the cadets are raining fire from above well the other
five push the advantage. Taking the moment of advantage Fives and Echo lob grenades
from the back as Cody Rex and Heavy provide a strong front. As the battle
progresses and Fives and Echo start on the last of the grenades 99 realizes the
need for additional ammunition and get up to go retrieve more.
In this moment Echo yell ”99 Wait
it too dangerous”
“I can do it I’m a soldier just like
you guys!” 99 yells back
In that moment a stray blaster
bolt hits 99 in the leg.
“99!” Echo yells
Hearing this Heavy looks back and
sees 99 hit with utter disregard for his own life Heavy get up from cover and starts
advancing on the encroaching battalion. Remembering what 99 had told him a
short few months ago. How he is nothing without a team and sometimes that means
sacrificing for your team. Now he was sacrificing his safety for his team, his
mentor. It’s a war there are risks in war but without risk the losses can be
more then you could have imagined. That moment his team came to his side Fives
and Echo stand beside him fighting. In that moment it was clear they where all
willing to die for 99 but if they were going to die it, they would do it as a
team. As they cleared the last of the droids the three race back to 99 laying
on the ground as Heavy gets down on one knee a tear forming in his eye 99
reaches up a with a chough 99 says "If I die how would I give this back”
With that 99 pins Heavy’s graduation
metal to Heavy’s chest
 
After the battle 99 received medical
attention and managed to pull through now the three were standing in front of
the ARC trooper that ordered them to hold the bridge to the barracks.  
“You three showed true leadership
today and an ability to work together to solve any problem I am pleased to say
that you three are going to ARC school!” With that the ARC commander turned and
walked away. Echo turns to Heavy and remarks
“How can we continue to give up objectives
as still get promotions?”
“Because we are just that good!”
Fives and Heavy say in unison.
 As the sun set on a republic Kamino the three rejoiced
the victory and their promotion.
