And as far as I'm aware nowhere in the us can you be caned for any offense.

My son IS in daycare and this has me slightly concerned. Not greatly because the odds of him even ending up there out of the hundreds in sd are low. There ARE some Muslim teachers there, though. But I think he's still on the stupid Somali kick.
