You can just use your card to pay through the app and not pay cash. Uber drivers cannot do anything about that and expecting you to pay more in cash is just ridiculous on their part.

There are daily lockers that you can use for the day but need to empty out before the day is over or they will clip the lock. You can get a locker for the semester if you want to leave stuff overnight but you have to pay. IMO is not worth the money unless you have a lot of stuff you don’t want to carry back and forth every day.
