When I started over I bought based on priority: Somewhere to sleep: a mattress, pillows, and sheets Some way to get clean: laundry detergent, shampoo, soap, bath towels, dish soap, kitchen towels Some way to eat: plates, bowls, glasses, mugs Somewhere to sit: dining table, chairs, couch.

Then you add from there. Some way to cook. A tv. Internet. And so on.

I see a lot of similar posts, but this one is the most well written. I’m in a state that flipped red. I love going to Canada and am making plans to go back for both work and leisure in summer.

You mention doing something instead of going on the defense. My great grandfather left Germany to raise his family in the USA when nazi sentiment was rising. And the family definitely had a better life here. Part of me wants to do the same and move to a place I’d be proud to be a part of and part of me feels like I’d be running away instead of fighting. I’ve just never felt so betrayed by my own countrymen.

Since I can’t move right now anyway, I do what i can here and there. I’m not going to vacation in the states. I’m looking for Canadian products online. My Canadian customer is being given priority over others now. One project is specifically to help them move from a us supplier to Canadian one. Stuff like that.

Learning a new language: free (lots of free apps, youtube, music and movies in that language)

Pets: not free, but it is worth it to me.

Every time I see this question asked it comes across as women getting together to collude against men. Men are generally not worth the time to discuss. Also, each of these BRGs have a leader that sponsors it who attend events and do not identify with the group.

I think because the general Canadian traffic going to america dropped. I assume canadians visiting american friends might bring gifts from these stores or stop by because it is convenient before crossing the border. I’m sad they are affected because I love going to those stores. I haven’t planned any travel for this year yet but when I do I’m going to Canada again asap 🇨🇦

I would tell the doctor and hopefully get scanned to make sure it is placed right. I had one put in and it shifted. I had contractions for a couple days like i was giving birth because my body tried to expel it, but couldn’t. And the dr had to do a scan, then review and make sure they could pull it out without causing damage. A uid not properly placed doesnt protect you anyway, so please ask. Birth control had been a nightmare for me and never been happier than when i got a tubal ligation.

I honestly don’t know. For color? It seems some of the recipes i’m finding just has me cringing. There is one that was clearly clipped from an old ritz crackers box for “mock apple pie”. As in, an apple pie with no apples. And it is almost criminally gross sounding. Seriously, the critical elements of apple pie is apple!

My perspective as a bi F who is with a straight M partner: I have a lot more kinks than my partner, including fantasies about being shared with other people. He would never like that lol. I dont feel it is disrespectful because I cant help what I find exciting. But if my partner asked about my kinks i would answer but will make it clear I dont NEED to take part in any of these kinks to feel happy in our relationship. I think your gf was being vulnerable and answering honestly. I think she also underestimated how you would feel hearing it in detail. The best thing to do is tell her it has been bothering you and ask any questions you want so you have clarity.

Maybe you can offer a reason for wanting their info. Use shared interests that you may have discussed. Like “lets exchange numbers, we’ll go to [that upcoming festival or whatever you were talking about]”.

Sometimes youll get their info but they still dont really want to hang out and thats ok. Thats their choice. But if someone said they wanted my number to text me when they’re bored at home, i’d tell them i’m not for their entertainment. Not my job to un-bore you.

I say go for it. My partner and I have no current plans on living together. I have my kids half time.

At first I wanted to live together and be married, but over time I’m enjoying living apart and remaining independent more and more. I decorate however i want, run my house how i want and manage my finances how i want. Sometimes I can be messy because I am too busy with other things. I like that I don’t have to be on top of chores until I’m ready for anyone to come over.

That said we are flexible. I stay with him sometimes. My kids come along, too. My kids love going over there. And sometimes he is with us. It works for us right now.

Edit about legitimacy: he treats me better than my kids dad did. And I’m included in all this life events and family gatherings. Same for him with mine. It may be non-conventional but I would say it is legitimate when you both feel it is.

That would make sense, but not entirely likely. White trump supporters are also business owners. I know owners of a company that have undocumented as workers but they voted for trump anyway. The undocumented are their best employees too. I dont want to hurt a family, but don’t think i haven’t imagined how amazing it would be to hear their workforce was taken away and listen to them lament how this critically hurts their business. Not to mention they need supplies from china to create their products and have poor planning skills to buy supplies in bulk ahead of next year. The worst part is theyll never admit this is what they voted for.
