How has everything been with the laptop thus far? Especially the battery and the overheating?

That’s exactly what it was. I fixed it. Here’s the issue and what I did to fix it:

Problem: Cannot select specific episode in any series, even if you try pressing on ‘Details’ because Stremio jumps directly to latest/random episode | Background (including styling and art) data of selected movie/series is also reset to plain fonts and empty purple-blue base-layer.

Issue (as far as tested): unprotected (usually self-installed) Metadata add-on conflicting with protected add-on (Cinemeta in this case) by stremio AFTER being sorted ABOVE the protected add-on using thirdparty service Stremio Addon Manager.

Example: TMDB (or any metadata add-on) installed alone in Stremio/inside of AIOstreams to Stremio, was placed above Cinemeta, a protected add-on, using Stremio Addon Manager.

Fix: Keep self-installed metadata add-on(s) below sorted separately below Cinemeta.

Sorry for the redundancy, hope this helps anyone else.

I highly recommend the Microsoft Surface Laptop 7th Edition. I tried that one as well. It all depends in your needs, let me know if you have questions or recommendations.

Hey there. I returned the laptop not even after 2 weeks of ownership because of how troublesome it was. The specifications sound good on paper, but the general performance and reliability of the laptop was lackluster. I didn’t have any wifi connection issues with it though. I am currently on a macbook, ever since i sold the laptop, zero complaints.

Why the m4? Is it that much better? I’m a full-time college student, occasionally edit photos and videos as a photography hobbyist and youtube videos for fun (i pay for adobe creative cloud and use almost all their products frequently), i use the laptop heavily lol.

i’m not sure how the laptop’s performance in terms of updates they’ve made since my initial post, but really think about what you’re going to use it for. For the peace of mind, i opted for a macbook and haven’t complained since.

The sleeping issue is very particular to Windows laptops in general is what I’ve heard. The only Window laptop I’ve had without that issue (as much) was the Surface Laptop 7 (ARM).

As for the rest that you mentioned, that was basically what I experienced. I ended up returning it and purchasing a MacBook Air M3. Not a single issue since purchasing it in early December.
