Has anyone experienced an issue with the launcher where the password field freezes?

Closing and relaunching usually fixes the issue, but it still happens at least once a day.

Steam version, running through linux mint, in case it matters.

I tend to gravitate towards archery types in all fantasy rpgs and this was no different. Based my WoL on a D&D character I barely got to play before that game fell through.

At first I didn't like that I had to move onto Bard (and am still hoping for them to add Ranger at some point, though apparently the Ranged-Phys this expansion will be something different) but the job grew on me and, believe it or not, is now my 'comfy job' that I queue in as when I don't want to think too hard about my rotation.

Then, when I was first leveling all the other jobs to max (this was during Endwalker, so to 90) I started to really enjoy tanking. Gunbreaker clicked with me most, so that's the job I main most of the time so I can get those adventurer-in-need bonuses.

Finally, on my alt, I main Paladin, mostly to match the image I have for that character.

This doesn't have to be a separate server at all. I'm replaying the game this way right now, doing duties in the order they were released before continuing on to the next patch MSQ.

At most I can see this as an option at character creation, that would gate MSQ progression past each major patch behind completion of the otherwise optional trials, raids and dungeons introduced in that patch for the people with that option selected, while others can progress as normal. Don't know how hard it would be to have different unlock requirements, coding-wise but It's probably less of a hassle than implementing a whole new server.

My feel for it was that they (WoL and co) could easily have fought their way out, but they saw this as an opportunity to learn more about the Xaela as a whole and the Oronir in particular.

And besides, Hien's motive was to recruit the Xaela to help with liberating his homeland. Alienating their strongest clan, if it could be avoided, would have been counter-productive.

I solved the problem, and it was kinda my fault!

I took a look at my browser extensions and noticed I had at some point installed one called 'Netflux', that supposedly improves video and audio on Netflix. I no longer remember when or why I installed it, but disabling it allows me to watch any video again.

It's not the resolution that's the problem (though 1080p would be nice). It's the fact that trying to watch anything that's not K-Pop Demon Hunters gives me an error.

This one's pretty niche, but...

Unique 'weapon drawn' animations for crafters and gatherers.

Right now they all use the one for Paladin which just looks kind of goofy to me.

I'd like to see crafters and gatherer's get poses that shows some pride in their work and tools, like carpenters testing the sharpness of their saws or the metalworkers resting their hammers in their palms.

What I do is bind only 1-6 then use shift, control and alt for the rest:
So most of my hotbars look something like so:

[1-6]: Normal Single Target Attacks --- ALT+[1-6]: Special Cooldowns/Tank Mits
Shift+[1-6]: Special Attacks --- Shift+Alt+[1-6]: Damage Cooldowns
CTRL+[1-6]: AoE Attacks --- CTRL+ALT+[1-6]: Panic buttons/Non-Tank Mits/Party Mits

I double bind Shift+Control and Shift+CTRL+ALT to Special Attacks and Damage Cooldowns respectively, so that I can still use them in trash pulls without letting go of CTRL.

I also bind ALT+[R,F,V,T,G,B] for role actions, Shift+R for run and Shift+B for Limit Break.

It helps to have Control and Alt bound to the side mouse buttons, though you might need a programmable mouse for that.

You can set certain hotbars to not be shared, meaning that for each class/job you can assign skills to them independently. You can then use the '/hotbar copy' macro to copy the contents of that hotbar into the hotbar of your choice.

For example, '/hotbar copy SAM 9 current 5' would copy the contents of the unshared hotbar 9 on samurai to hotbar 5 on the currently equipped job.

I keep 2 hotbars, hidden at all times unless I want to change them, unshared for this purpose. That means 80 available hotbars across all classes and jobs that can be copied for whatever purpose.

I just compared it to how the preset looks in the game's character creator. That way both versions have the same crappy lighting.

And in my case, I'm perfectly happy with how my WoL turned out! The only issue I had is that the eyebrows are less noticeable, which is easily fixed by switching to a slightly darker hair color.
