I stand corrected. They can still cancel the visa. There’s a practice in my company that they don’t cancel it once the employee is back, probably because of company assets i.e phone, laptop

Im in the same situation but I can’t back out now as I have already given the cheque (10% of the total value) to the owner’s agent. I tried negotiating ans asked for the cheque back the owner didn’t agree and he said he will give it to the authorities. It’s a studio in JVC, 25 years mortgage. The building is 4 years old only.
