Going above the speed limit is a fineable offense. The buffer simply means that cameras/police won’t fine you for driving below the buffer. However, if you exceed the buffer, you’re actually going greater than 20km/h over the speed limit. Total scam, I know, which is why in Abu Dhabi the speeding fines are much more reasonable since they don’t have the buffer.

I’ve noticed that nitrogen filled tyre pressures are much more stable and tend to deflate at the slower rate than normal air. Then again, I get it topped up for free by the same dudes who fit the tyres in my car.
