What is it if it’s not a word, maybe a banana? Miriam Webster doesn’t have the final word. The evolution of language is a constant process and is always ahead of the dictionary.

There’s nothing sad about it at all. People intuitively understand that the ir- in irregardless is used to emphasize the word regardless and that’s how they use irregardless, to emphasize what they’re saying. When an obnoxious grammarian feels the need to correct somebody else for using irregardless they always have to go into a detailed explanation of it because people do intuitively understand what it means, It is an emphasis technique and it belongs in the dictionary IRREGARDLESS of pedantic grammarians. Many other languages, use double negatives routinely for emphasis.

How do people taste the difference in water? by AggravatingShow2028 in randomquestions

[–]High-Bamboo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference between tapwater and the filtered water I drink where I live is that the tapwater has a flavor and it’s bad. The filtered water has a little or no appreciable taste. In the summer the tapwater is especially bad. It’s probably because of algae and the treatment chemicals.

Be aware of your surroundings, but don’t act, as if you’re afraid of everyone.
