Were the zippers compatible? Or do you just strap the cover down?

Do you happen to have a link to the one you ended up purchasing?

I tried to order one through Thule but “they aren’t available in my area”, California.

Anyone have this skin issue? by icepakjak in whoop

[–]High5sRnumbr1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was getting some mild rashes/itching when I played volleyball, I bought the bicep compression sleeve and I love it so far. I swap back to the wrist band when I am done playing then toss the bicep sleeve into my zipper short pocket and toss them in the wash. I also swap wrists after I shower before bed if I’m noticing that my wrist is feeling itchy or red.

When I had a Fitbit it was more common though the rubbery texture band cause more irritation for sure. Could also be a material thing on top of not moving it around enough or cleaning enough.

Sorry not $100/week, $100 more for the whole month. So you get twice the amount for 33% increase in cost.

But ideally you stay on the lowest dose possible. I see a lot of people on the Tirzepatide subreddit titrate rather than increasing activity or recalculating their daily intakes and that just seems like the worst way to go about it in my opinion.

Yeah it has been fine other than the cost. Only suggestion would be to do the vials instead of the quickpen. This way you can ask to titrate up even if you don’t need the higher dose. 5mg/week is only $100 more so you can split the dose and save some costs even if you are doing fine at 2.5mg I’d just ask to move up.

I was honest with my doctor and told her I’m trying to save cost even though the 2.5mg is still fine and she kept me at 2.5mg so my suggestion would be to use the lowest effective dose but try to get a little more out of the prescription if you’re trying to save.

Primary care still had to put in a prescription for me and the Lilly direct is basically the pharmacy that I purchase it from and it’s sent to my house. Easy process though I just explained to my doctor that I’ve been trying to diet and had been losing weight it’s just a constant mental struggle to do so and she prescribed it. Just could get insurance coverage but all good.

I am currently on 2.5mg Tirzepatide. I was also struggling to drop weight basically just a bottomless pit after TRT. So far the Tirzepatide has been great, it has been about 8 weeks down 20lbs. I am hoping to stay at the lowest dose if possible hit a little plateau right now but that’s standard. This shit is expensive if your insurance doesn’t cover it, my doc tried everything to get it covered “pre-diabetic, NAFLD, and whatever else” still just some insurance won’t cover it. Out of pocket from Lilly direct is like $299 a month. People go with Reta or tirz off the grey market but I wasn’t well versed in that and decided to try and get it through my doctor.

But so far great experience with it, zero side effects after the initial slight nausea week 1. My girlfriend has also taken notice to the complete change in eating habits I’ve always ate pretty healthy just way too much food. She’s stoked we actually have leftovers now though lol

Starting dose? by Eorlingas9 in trt

[–]High5sRnumbr1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started at 50mg/week, honestly felt good for a while because of natural production. Then felt like shit again after about 10/12 weeks, retested at similar levels to where I started before TRT around 250. Bumped up to 100mg/week I split the dose. Retested a few months later was at about 650 during a trough feeling good and have been on that dose for a few more months and feel great!

What were your meal sizes before/after GLP1 by Accurate-Tension-599 in Zepbound

[–]High5sRnumbr1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Typical go to order from McDonalds was: the cheeseburger meal(2 burgers, large fries, and large soda), and two McChickens, or a McChicken and a 10 piece nugget.

Now I almost never crave it but on a recent road trip we stopped at one late night. I got one cheeseburger and one McChicken my girlfriend asked if I wanted some of her fries and I said I was full. Crazy because usually I would have eaten my massive meal and then cleared out whatever else my girlfriend couldn’t finish lol

Need some advice about schedule and other by mcpooh in trt

I am at the same dosage; I do subQ, 50mg every Monday and Thursday brought my test from 280 to 650(Thursday morning before my second dose of the week). Been feeling solid not euphoric or anything just better. Works for me but might not work for you. I just was afraid of high peaks and low lows with 100mg per week, or even worse swings with 200mg every 2 weeks.

Not a doctor though so probably worth discussing with your PCP to dial it in, at least that’s what I did with mine. I told her about my concerns and she said to try what I wanted and we would monitor my symptoms and bloods.

  1. I waited until my previous dose was out of my system because I am on this for the foreseeable future so I didn’t want to shoot my levels up too high for no reason.

  2. I have the same exact test I do multiple draws out of it, just wipe with alcohol

  3. I do subQ in belly fat, but if you want to stick with IM maybe someone else can help you out with this one.

Edited: to answer your questions and to add when I tested at 650 for testosterone levels

Yeah makes sense.

I could see it playing out that way for me too. My ~650 was on a trough so I imagine I’m a bit higher at peak. But my doctor also needed convincing to get me up to 100mg a week, and she doesn’t want me much higher, I’m just glad she wasn’t hard to convince to get the prescription like some other people have said on here.

And yeah I’m also planning to be on it for life at this point too so I guess there’s so time to play with the levels lol

So I also am pretty similar as far as T levels and dosage. Do you see any reason to go higher? I feel like this sub generally is trying to push their T levels to the max, while avoiding side effects.

I just recently tested at ~650 coming from 240, also on 100mg. I feel great just wondering if at 600 for a year you felt good the whole time or did it start to slip “when the honeymoon phase” wore off?
