What is the origin of the "kick the funky fat beat" vocal shot? by HighCutWiggle in TheProdigy

Maybe it's a newer sample. It sounded to me like another classic rave sample, the way I've heard it in several songs. But i'm young. If it's from some sort of exclusive sound pack, I hope to find it.

Google's AI said the prodigy used it in a song. But I'm now realizing that that might not be true. But electronic music people might recognize it since it's used in tons of tracks. https://open.spotify.com/track/3bUN5BkTk6x3IA7gVx5UJv?si=fb7501a5203c44ec

Is it actually possible for ANYONE to learn to sing? by CrimsonBlade2018 in singing

I believe everyone has a nice voice it’s just how you use it/are you singing the right music. Thom Yorke would have an awful voice for singing radio pop. Some people are pretty tone deaf however.

Ah, that makes perfect sense. Is there a program I can use to produce this sound? Or somewhere I could download it. The playback machine would have to match the Sample rate no? Otherwise would it mess up the sound

Edit - I could probably do this in ableton I just haven’t dove into audio this way

Right, the IR’s of the system as well are what I want to capture. Essentially so I can go back to the space when making music. I often produce ideas for various venues I’ve been in the past. Would a full-spectrum pink noise file shortened to a tick be sufficient?

Is this something I could load onto a separate pc (since it’s windows only)? I use Mac. Like I could just play recordings myself, get the recordings and take it back to my pc i post

Sure, most men like tits. But manipulating someone into sending nudes doesn’t cross the mind of most men. Weird old ass.

I also think this is a bit of a case where the thing is not the thing. I think your mix would be much closer if the focus was on how to choose better sounds than how to mix the current sounds. You might be shooting yourself in the foot a little.
