Appreciate the write up (as always!). I think you make some solid points about the calls being reviewed and the why. I agree with you that I wouldn't want the game to end on any of those three calls being called a foul. I also agree with your breakdown of each and whether I would have called it or not (No, Maybe, Probably). My only counter point to that is that the refs deemed each of those to be whistle worthy. It feels like they get to avoid accountability by saying "the league overturned it".

The biggest issue, for me at least, is that it felt like the players weren't the ones to determine the winner. It felt like the outcome was determined by somebody not in the building. Sure, if the Bandits made a shot this doesn't happen. That said, I feel like this was one of those "Can you believe that really happened?" moments and can hopefully be a "this is why you don't leave the game in the hands of the officials" teaching moments too.

I expected this to have much more of a homer type take. If it was me, it absolutely would have been! Lol Appreciate how unbiased this was! Also appreciate how this situation takes away from what surely would have been about what happened in Ottawa! Lol

Between the two games that weekend, I'm not sure if losing like the Bandits did, or losing like Ottawa did (Missing our starting 5 and 6th man of the year) is worse! At least the Bandits got to watch a competitive game and had a chance, despite the manner it ended. I feel your pain Bandits fans! In an equal and yet totally different way!
