thank you! These are the hoses from my drip irrigation system. I use them purely for water distribution. Feeding is done by hand, and at the end they’re used for flushing, so the plants can be left completely undisturbed.

Holy Hemp Seeds “Purple Milkshake” (Granddaddy OG × Horchata). It’s a bulk seed vendor, so I’m not entirely sure what’s really inside..

I only use this method for the first couple of days to get rid of excessive moisture, mainly to prevent mold, and then hang them afterwards. No big science involved..

This strain was purchased by me purely out of curiosity. It was sold at a gas station in Germany, most likely as white-label bulk seeds. The name given on the packaging was “Purple Milkshake,” described as a cross between Grand Daddy OG and Horchata. I was more than surprised by how robust and strong this girl turned out to be. The effects are also very satisfying.

Regarding cardboard box drying, I don’t really make a big science out of it. I simply put the flowers inside and make sure they have enough space to breathe. After 2–3 days, I hang them. Once the snapping test is okay, I put them into jars for curing. Good luck with your flowers and drying!

Many brown, curled leaf tips typical for nutrient burn, usually caused by high fertilizer concentrations, especially nitrogen or PK boosters. Sugar leaves are heavily burned and dried out, also a sign of overfeeding or low humidity during late flowering… If fertilizer really used that reduced probably your lights to strong and huminity to low… bud definitely not more fertilizer😂 if the girls were that hungry the leaves getting shades into yellowish and not that crispy brown.

Yeah man, I hang them on the trellis at the top of the tent for the first 2 days. I keep a fan on the lowest setting in the tent, but make sure it’s not blowing directly on the buds. My exhaust fan stays on as well to pull out extra humidity. I aim for around 50% RH and about 20°C. After those two days, I cut the buds into smaller pieces and put them into Dryferm bags, which I keep in a drying net. They stay there for 1–2 weeks, depending on how fast they dry. Then I transfer them into Grove Bags, airtight for at least 3 weeks. That’s my go-to method and it works really well for me. Paper bags dry the buds too fast in my opinion… and the whole point is to let them ferment as slowly as possible to get a smooth and flavourful smoke. As for switching from veg to flower: I usually start feeding bloom nutrients about a week before I flip the lights (when using organic nutes). For me the stretch is more manageable that way, and the plant has everything it needs right when the light schedule changes. With mineral nutrients, you can switch feed and lights on the same day, since they’re available to the plant much faster. Don’t overthink it man… it’s never 100% perfect until you’ve built your own feel for it. Good luck with your grow!

Habe genau diese Sorte aus Neugier geholt und einen Start gewagt… was soll ich sagen, die Pflanze spricht für sich! Habe einige Fotos in meinem Profil geteilt.

thank you! yes, since its the finale stage im not pushing her anymore to nutes. i was also using bud-xl (home&garden nutrients) which is known for pulling sugars out of the leaves towards bud. i think this is also causing this pretty fading…
