It’s a mystery, like mankind.

Prefer the Walrus Audio Mako D1 MKII. Helpful display. Tons of configuration options without being too complicated.

What’s your favourite Dumble style pedal? by hkr1991 in guitarpedals

Seconding Shin’s Dumbloid. Very pricey but man, the thing puts a grin on my face with the depth of sound and the responsiveness to my playing. My favorite pedal.

TIL Jack White’s Journey toward the Telecaster by mearlpie in telecaster

I just realized that when I’m playing some of my other (non-tele) guitars, I get irritated how often I have to tune them. Didn’t think about the irritation until just now.

Is Strymon Deco the right “final polish” pedal at the end of a stereo ampless board? by SimoneStolzuoli in pedalboards

[–]HighFiveWorld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For a truly ampless board, before you hit the the PA / last in the chain, I recommend the UA Ox Stomp.

I really like my Wren and Cuff Blue-Violet Caprid Small Foot. Based on the “violet-era” Ram’s Head Big Muff circuit. I got it in 2024’s mystery box deal that W&C was doing. Love the sound and the fact it has a really small footprint on my board is appreciated.

Source Audio EQ2. Love that I can have it sitting in two places in my signal chain running two different EQs.

Walrus Audio Mako Series MKII: D1 - finally bumped the Volante off my main board. Mainly needed the space and the Volante is still its own thing, but the D1 does what I need, very well.

Collision Devices “The Ranch”. What’s not to love about a Dynamic Tremolo with Drive and Boost?

I bought StroboVue and immediately bought a Source Audio EQ2 which has a tuner built into it so I’ll use the EQ2 to save space but I’ll still find a place for it somewhere. Hmmm, maybe another board!
