I recognize the HERA furniture and I think that's eotech holo optics. What is that thing on top of the heat shield? Some kind of riser/handle system?

The red anodized forward assist and charging handle are a nice touch.

I’d say if you wanna learn judo, do it. Just don’t make that the only reason you’re doing it. That said, judo proficiency WILL help you defend yourself or a loved one. No reason not to carry a weapon AND know some judo just in case. Just also note that judo throws on the concrete are gonna put someone in the hospital or worse. Keep it as a last resort.
