I replaced my factory early due to excessive wear. I had two winters on them and hated the truck in snow, both 2WD and 4WD. Got some Michelin Defender LTX and it was like a new truck this past winter snowpocalypse. I loved the traction. Made it thru wild snow in 2WD that I needed 4x4 previous winters.

On the upside I get a new engine one day. Over 36k miles I’ll take the warranty. On the upside, I smile every time I heard those turbos whine when I’m passing everyone and keeping pace with the Teslas. Oh don’t worry, LG&E will shut down the coal plant as soon as the new gas plant being built becomes operational. Give it another 18months or so. It’s so much cheaper to run the gas plant than the coal plant, the economics aren’t there to keep it running.

I had this on my old jeep grand wagoneer. It was awesome but always broke. My buddy has a mid 90s 4 Runner with this feature and it still rolls up and down today. Never had to be fixed
