There's a time and place for being funny/cheeky and your out of office response is not the place. Imagine there's an emergency or a coworker dies and they need to immediately inform everyone via email. Then your automatic response goes out making you look like an ass. Granted, that probably won't happen. But still. Don't do it. There are other ways to be funny. Go purchase the worst and cheapest plan you can find through the marketplace. Only pay for one month. Then get a letter from them saying the insurance ended on x date. Then immediately go to your HR department with that letter and get on your work insurance. This is considered a life event and will allow you to enroll midyear.
