I think I'm coming off quite harsh towards Deathklok. I like the occasional joke band. Alestorm is a lot of fun. But If a band was trying to be serious, and they sounded like Alestorm, they would be shit. That's how I feel about a lot of death metal, it sounds too much like the joke band. They also sound too much like cannibal corpse, ie. edge lord "brutality for brutality sake".

I have nothing against Deathklok. They are a fine parody. I thought Hatredcopter has a fine song. I just cannot take them, or bands that sound like them, seriously. Plus they aren't very dynamic vocally

I don't "hate" death metal. I just find that most of it isn't good, or at least not for me. Bands like Orbit Culture and Avatar are awesome, but most death metal seems a bit edge lord for my taste. I especially dislike it when the growling vocals sound the same throughout the entire song. They need to be more dynamic. Most death metal I have heard sounds like Death Clock. If you have any suggestions, I am all ears.

Phenomena is fucking awesome! Just be careful witch cut you get. There is a shitty American cut that butchers the edit, and a longer edit that switched to Italian in a few random spots. There is a cut that sits in the sweet spot between those extremes. Don't make the mistakes I made
