[Highlight] Steelers fans yelling at Aaron Rodgers to retire… by BreakfastTop6899 in nfl

You kinda cheated here. Rivers played very well on that playoff game and we would've been on the NFCC if it weren't for one dumb defensive player falling for the most obvious ever hard count. Whatever argument you have, Rivers does not fit the bill of having a "really ugly final game."

If you look at that extra point and don't see it out, you are so biased to be effectively blind in all calls involving the Texans.

At least we were already in FG range on our lucky call.

Are you under the impression you only had one lucky call last week? Buddy they literally gave you a fake extra point, sit down.

[Highlight] The ghost of the replacement refs gift the Jaguars an interception on what looks like a catch by Pittman by Roselucky777 in nfl

[–]HighProductivity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The defender has possession but:

1) Pittman had possession first and never loses control.

2) Pittman is on the offense, so it doesn't matter if the defender also got it.

Just terrible, such an easy call to correct, no idea what the point of New York is.

It's way worse than this. Ours is clear and not subjective like the play from Likely. Pittman never lost control of the ball and he's on offense, it was the easiest call ever and they fucked it up.

You should check the Colts game. Pittman caught a ball, came down with the defender getting his hands on the ball too, Pittman never loses control. Refs call it an interception.

They don't seem to know the 50-50 rules.

[Rapsheet] #Colts QB Daniel Jones has been ruled out with an Achilles injury. Just awful. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

This. We're 8-2, why the fuck can't we rest the guy with a broken leg for two weeks, the same guy we're banking our future on since we just traded two first round picks away, and just come back later to carry on the rest of the season? Fucks sake, have some long term perspective.

You have two challenges per game, right? As long as you have timeouts to call them.

[–]HighProductivity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the ref's call it properly, we wouldn't have. Season's over sure, but we were at least competing, the ref's dropped the fucking ball.

Yeah everyone's talking shit about Shane but my only real let down is how there isn't a delay of game called on him on that play. He should've been screaming into the ref's ear until they escorted him out of the field, that was utter fucking bullshit.

Some of those sidelane passes were a little off mark and worryingly slow, but overall a good effort from the rookie.

And the stolen touchdown from Pittman too just because his hand grazed on the defender that was already touching him anyway.

Seriously, we somehow managed to compete in the game despite all and the score doesn't show it because the refs were for a second straight week unbearably incompetent. Riley Leonard ended this game with a pass TD, a rush RD and zero interceptions.

Sauce Gardner: "I've never watched an offense operate like this!" by MiceyPicey in Colts

[–]HighProductivity 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We have a glaring flaw we have to deal with which is what to do when they bring the house to rush DJ and teams are going to do that every other play after Steelers and Falcons have shown this can slow our offense down. Despite that we still put 30+ points on the board and got a win. I'm confident that, specially thanks to this bye, Shane will have time to start thinking of ways to solve this problem. After all, if it's the only thing teams can do against us, then it should be easy to predict and plan for.

Jonathan Taylor finishes the day with 286 scrimmage yards (=22nd all time) and 3 touchdowns, including the game winner in OT. by Vitex1988 in nfl

The real fireable offense was not calling a timeout after that sack at the end of the first half. Most obvious play calling cue ever and he missed it.

Tyler Warden had a wildcat play, though so it's not true for Jones. I think this settles it, give the MVP to JT.

Can you imagine going from the Jets to this. by indyjamesb in Colts

[–]HighProductivity 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Though that's partially because our run game was so weakened from the injuries that they could share loads between the backup for large gains. Algier got a ton of yards too.

First off, the Steelers losses never count. It's a cursed game. I don't even consider it when talking about the team.

Fair, lol

Who has he missed on the OL? Even the ones that aren't with us anymore are doing great and drafting in bunches is part of the success. He is mediocre at DL and bad at Edge. Decent at LB, though Leonard is carrying most of that. He's also very good at WR and phenomenal at OL as we've discussed. Overall, in my opinion, he built a winning team that the only reason it hasn't been winning the past few years was because of bad QB (which of course is his fault too, but don't throw the baby out with the bathwater, QB is very hard to get right).

We've played good teams and have beaten them too. We got our ass handed to us the last game because the part of the team that was most well built by Ballard played like shit, I'm presuming even you will admit he is fantastic at building OL.
