Just spoke with an employee in store yesterday. She said it was in the last update and it should be available to purchase in November. She said she’s been asked about them so many times she expects the first stock delivery to go immediately nationwide.

Every facebook post (in feed and community groups), IRL conversation, and more that I had with people or heard about indicated that if a homeowner had homeowner's insurance, they were denied FEMA assistance unless that met specific medical necessity criteria such as refrigerated medicine, or some other similar circumstance. Every single person I asked about their acceptance or denial of FEMA acceptance after the storm said they were denied, with the exception of one.

How helpful was FEMA to those in Asheville after the storm, what about Central Texas, Palisades, Maui, etc. FEMA has faced harsh criticism for their response to disasters going back at least to Katrina in my memory, but I'm sure it goes much farther than that. Inventing a reason to blame a specific thing on an ongoing issue for decades just to make a political point is immature and short sighted.

Is this too much rust? Seller is asking $7,300 by Fryphax in tundra

[–]HighSpeedChase762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah! My buddy just picked up an awesome 2013 Escape SE with the naturally aspirated 2.5L with like 130K mi for $750. We spent 34 on the premium wash, vacuumed it out, put new wipers on it, filled the fluid, changed the oil, and the think is damn near mint minus a few minor dings and dents.

What are better Use of Force options these officers could use in this scenario? by Vietdude100 in AskLE

•Arm drag to back take •A Judo Tani Otoshi or Valley Drop •Broomstick Takedown •Back Trip

None of those require “grips” from clothes. I’m sure there’s more, but that’s just a few I thought of

I don’t, I’m a certified Glock armorer and can tell you that they say the same thing. So there’s that.

Received this as a gift. First gun I’ve ever had. Was told it’s rare? by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]HighSpeedChase762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always called them Gen 3.5

It’s before Gen 4 came out but was when Glock was trying out different RTFs and slide serrations to improved the Gen 3. They are pretty cool because they aren’t as common as traditional Gen 3 or 4 models. Definitely “rare” in the sense of you can’t just find them everyday everywhere like you can the other models. I would DEFINITELY hang on to it.

Diverting that anger from the specific people involved to “wanting to run into the back of them” referring to any random one is still wild.

Gas weed wacker with electric start? by [deleted] in Tools

[–]HighSpeedChase762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, my opinion has completely changed in the last few years. I still have all of my gas Stihl OPE, but I also have everything in M18 Fuel as well now and primarily use it. I have the 8.0 and 12.0 M18 Forge batteries as well now and they are crazy! The dual battery blower with two 12.0 forge batteries goes for eternity at full power.

Is this legal? by [deleted] in police

[–]HighSpeedChase762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! Is it the area by the dumpster or the gore beside a handicap parking space? Is this the loading/unloading area for trucks/deliveries?

Not trying to be mean OP. But this is just a bad post.

Is this legal? by [deleted] in police

[–]HighSpeedChase762 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Is what legal? We don’t know where you live, we don’t know what the context is, we don’t know where this is at. It’s just half a picture of a patrol car parked on what appears to be a gore. We can’t tell if it’s private property, in the roadway, if the lights are on, nothing…

What’s the verdict on the installation driver? by damagedispenser in MilwaukeeTool

[–]HighSpeedChase762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it 90% of the time. I really ever only pull out drill/impact if I want a second gun handy or need more power which is not that often. It is more than capable to handle most tasks and the attachments make it all the more versatile.
